Hotel Santa Justa was an excellent hotel choice for our recent visit to Lisbon. It is ideally located in the heart of downtown, close to lots of action, all within walking distance. The room was very modern, clean, and larger than expected. The bathroom was really amazing - awesome shower and large fluffy towels! Rare these days. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and the fado music at night! Listening to the music while enjoying drinks right in our hotel was a highlight of our trip. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and accommodating.

We were delighted to see the Lisbon Star Hotel from the aeroporto Metro station and it was an easy 5-minute walk away. The check-in was quick and easy, the room was very modern and convenient, it was quiet and the breakfast was amazing. Then it was an easy 5-minute walk to catch our plane. Great hotel, great location, wonderful staff. We would recommend it to friends and will probably stay there again.

I had a 24 hrs layover in Lisbon and was looking for a hotel close to the airport. Rome was the best choice so far compared to others i stay as far as value, location, accommodation and transportation.
I would recommend everyone to stay in Rome when spending a few days in Lisbon.

I booked the cheaper rooms but didn’t read that these were 5th floor attic rooms with restricted headroom. My fault but if this will bother you then don’t book them, even though they served us well- Quiet, comfy bed and good shower. The staff are great, before my stay I asked them to put me in the room with the best 5th floor headroom and they did. Check in was smooth and friendly, with a pastry and glass of port. On the last day they booked a car for the airport that came to the door. The location is great for touristy activity and 10mins walk will take you to main squares, restaurants away from the very touristy ones, didn’t have breakfast but there is a cafe at the end of the road near the square. We booked a yellow bus 72 hour ticket, bus tours, trams, funiculars, boat, elevador, castle discount all included.

We had a phenomenal experience in our short stay at the hotel. The services all the way from entry to the hotel to breakfast ballroom and overall rooms was nothing but the best. The highlight of the day is breakfast and is served in style at the old ballroom with crisp White uniformed staff serving you drinks, coffee and cappuccino etc. Our beds were made twice a day, lobby is elegant and leads into the old palace great hall. Location is the highlight so central as you step foot out from the hotel and all sights and services are available. Highly recommended and a true gem in Lisboa!

After flying for almost 8 hours from NY, when we arrived to the hotel the front desk told us that we were unable to check in until 2PM. I'd like to point out that I saw other people check in prior to 2PM and given the keys. My other issue is with Expedia first and then the hotel. While my experience booking this entire trip was horrific, while booking a double room, we realized that when we got to the hotel that there was only 1 bed in the room. The gentleman at the front desk told us that Expedia indicated in the notes that we wanted one bed (so there's nothing that he could do about it). While, Expedia may have indicated the proper response should not have been "there's nothing i can do about it, that's what you put"... If i'm asking you for two beds, how can you tell me that I put down that I wanted 1 bed? Then he and the manager told us that if there were any rooms that opened up with 2 beds, they would let us know. No one ever said anything. Common courtesy goes a long way. Even if you don't have a double room with two beds, I believe that you should have said something. The hotel is small so it's not like they didn't know who we were. When you're of different ethnic background, the treatment is a little different. I believe.
Overall, the rooms were really tiny and the beds weren't very comfortable. They were clean, however which is really important. Unfortunately, I wouldn't stay there again unless I'm sleeping in the room by myself. The double rooms are not fit for 2

With 30 kilometres of golden-white sand, Costa da Caparica is Europe’s largest beach, lined with cafés and bars. The backdrop to the beach is an impressive cliff, topped by the charming 16th-century monastery, Convento dos Capuchos. A lively music festival is held here every summer. Lisbon, on the southern bank of the River Tagus, is around half an hour (15-20 kilometres) away.
