"Nice hotel close to Manchester Piccadilly"
I booked this hotel a couple of weeks before my visit to include bed, and a breakfast, in the rate. I inadvertently booked an accessible room, and it was absolutely fine in all respects with more than enough space for a party and a very comfortable bed. The room, public rooms and hotel are all somewhat featureless, but the room service food was fine and came within the promised time. I'd particularly recommend the breakfast. Buffet breakfasts can be a bit dried up but this one was pretty fresh with as wide a range of decently cooked hot and cold foods as most people would want.

"A well located hotel"
I picked the hotel since I needed to be on the SE side of town and close to the station. It ticked all of those boxes. Being on Piccadilly it is slightly more noisy (traffic wise) in the early morning, but for me that was a minor offset to its location. I did not dine or breakfast at the hotel so can make no comment there. Room was clean and wifi was free and fast.

"Dark and Dingy"
Single-night stay: - Staff were excellent, helpful and with a very good attitude, well above expectation! Bed comfort was not as good as I expected - 3/5. The shower was not powerful but the large head supplied more than enough water. I was attending a Black Tie Evening Function, very well presented 5/5, but reduced to 3/5 for the "adequate" food, poor Waiting staff efficiency, poor Bar efficiency. The hotel is beginning to look "used" - but seems to be a busy location with open access to recreational facilities used by non-resident guests, so keeping an "As New" look is difficult. The outside areas are not maintained at all, they are a mess. The frontage faces roughly north so the "Sun Terrace" tables for use as a meeting and relaxing area, with the coffee shop and bar, perhaps breakfast, etc, is in permanent shade so cold and completely useless. This also means the main foyer, reception, seating areas, breakfast-room etc are in permanent shade so not appealing as any sort of meeting place. The common areas have a DARK interior décor making them akin to a basement or set of rabbit tunnels. Little or No use of natural light. The large glass frontage helps, but still a heavy need for artificial lighting throughout the location. Outside the main entrance, which is also the mentioned Sun Terrace, is where the Nicotine Drug Users smoke. Most times I used the door during the evening, I was enveloped by the stinking smog being drawn back into the short entrance tunnel.

"Love this hotel "
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the lowry and I honestly can't fault it..my friend and I arrived early at about 10.30 and we asked If we can leave our cases as we were going shopping.our room was ready so we could go straight up..quick and helpful staff..rooms are lovely but the view of the building site was not great (not hotels fault).the only moan we had is that when we came back we went to bar for a drink and went straight up to the room..our drinks were expensive but I was annoyed when I looked at the reciept when we got to the room ..we were charged £1.88 service charge..I ment to say the next morning but forgot..I would stay away from the bar..but overall a fantastic hotel ..

"Airport hotel"
Lovely room on the right floor. Clean and comfortable. Only downside no air on and it's too noisy outside to have windows open and still have a good nights sleep. Check in staff were polite and really helpful. The cleaner was lovely too. The nicest and most helpful staff were the courtesy bus drivers. Overall I spent 2 days here on a business trip and would stay here agsin

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Audenshaw hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
