"A great place to stay"
The hotel is located near my son's apartment so it was a good location for me to stay. I was really impressed from the moment I walked in the door, received a friendly welcome. My room was located on the 2nd floor and I found the stairs difficult and will stay lower down next time. However the room was very comfortable and well equipped. I asked for a mat for the bath and more towels as my son was also staying with me and these were provided immediately. I was also impressed by the breakfast area in the basement area and enjoyed a full English breakfast. My son ordered bacon and eggs, but his second egg was over cooked and hard so he did not eat it, I should have mentioned this to our server. I really enjoyed my stay and will be definitely be staying here when I am next in uk

"Quick business trip to Oxford and London"
Stokenchurch is the perfect halfway house between Oxford and London. I am from the UK so I am familiar with the area. Hotel staff was excellent, "Spooner" in the restaurant deserved a special shout out for his excellent service. Hotel has everything you'd expect from a renovated pub. It's classically old yet not outdated. Restaurant was great, although a little too fancy for my taste. Only reason I'm not giving top marks is because two of our three room didn't have air conditioning. That was an issue for my two American friends, but I found the breeze and a fan good enough.

"Superior family rooms"
We had a lovely recently renovated family room. Which was massive with a large bathroom. The floors, beds and furniture all at angles due to its uneven character filled construction. My son paid only ten pounds less for his room and his room looked like something out of faulty towers. We had room 4 and room 5 looked nice as well. Book q family room. The breakfast add on was great order whatever you want for ten pounds per person no buffet all service. Fantastic locally sourced produce. Some rich locals dropping off their own game for the evening meal to the chef is always a good sign.

"Good value but very early morning noisy guests!"
A nice Hotel for the money and would be great except that it is very much a 'Contractors' Hotel and so people in the rooms around you (mainly men I'd guess), typically start their daily ablutions at about 5.45am waking all!! So sleep is elusive to say the least. Hotel is great, but people really need to learn how to consider others when getting up so early.

"Better than expected"
Having read previous reviews we were pleasantly surprised, the room was well equipped with coffee maker, kettle, ironing board and iron as well as the usual TV and Wi-Fi (free). The bed was comfortable and had lovely clean linen with a good duvet but pillows were a bit on the floppy side.Spacious bathroom/wetroom which was immaculately clean and all worked well. We were not in a hurry to leave so had a late breakfast, full English, which was cooked to order and very tasty.

"Great English Inn. Worth a visit!"
This is an independed traditional English pub/inn with the bedrooms situated in an annexe that appears relatively new. We received a warm welcome as we checked in to the busy bar area and shown to the room by the lovely Linda (owner with her husband Gary). We had booked the last available room and it compact with one side of the double bed against one of the walls and Linda apologising automatically that because they were full she was not able to offer one of the larger rooms, despite us being perfectly happy with the room for our one-night stay. The room was scrupulously clean, had tea/coffee making facilities and a small stand for any jackets and trousers that needed hanging, which was fine for our stay. We ate beautiful dinner (I am a vegetarian but my husband is not) prepared by a very skilled chef. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Definitely worth a visit for the hospitality and, even if you do not need accommodation, the pub has a great atmosphere and the food is top class!

High Wycombe is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in High Wycombe, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your High Wycombe hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
