Besides having to change rooms because the bed was dirty on arrival, the stay was pleasant and the restaurant was surprisingly decent. The rooms were also really quiet and transport to Heathrow was really easy. If you need a place to stay between flights I highly recommend. If you are staying in London for a longer period, I would try staying elsewhere.
Broken elevator, £100 fine to idle in loading zone
On a 30 day tripy stay at the Budget Ibis was by far the worst accommodation I stayed at. It took about 40 minutes to check in and drop bags off in the room (normally a 5-10 minute process). The reception is on the first floor but the elevator was broken and after waiting around with a crowd of others I opted to walk up about 25 stairs just to get to reception, then walk back down to get my bags, then another 50+ stairs up to get to my room on the second floor with all of the luggage. After that it was 3 swipes of my room card and a 5+ minute walk across a maze of halls to the room. Also you can only park for 10 minutes without paying so I had my boyfriend wait in the car in the drop off zone, when I checked out 2 days later I found out I would be getting a £100 pound fine for my boyfriend waiting in the rental car idling! Ridiculous! Aside from the horrendous check in/parking fines this hotel also had a sour burning smell inside, and no common amenities in the room like hair dryers, irons, fridge, microwave etc. Also if you enter the elevator room without your key you could get stuck, the elevator was broken and you need a key to exit to the stairs well. This place is not accessible, I can’t imagine what it would be like for a disabled or older person. Not worth the low price.
To describe this property think very basic travel lodge.
The first room I was given was 518. This room should be recarpeted and cleaned before being given out. The carpet was filthy and horribly stained. The bathroom fan was broken, and worse of all, when I pulled back the sheets to go to bed, there were long black curly hairs in it. (I am a blonde). I went to the front desk and they put me in another room, which was very clean and I felt better.
Would recommend this hotel for one night and if you need something before a flight. But before you unpack, make sure room is clean enough for you.

Excellent for a basic stay. Cafe and breakfast were good. The only problem was one non-working lift and the other was very slow until the freight lift was pointed out to us.There is a hotel- hoppa route H2D from Heathrow but it is infrequent. It is possible to get a regular.bus from Heathrow bus station to nearby the hotel cheaply every 10 minutes- check google maps.
-The vending machine on GF did not accept my mastercard payment
-There was no refrigerator in the room
-The soap used for showering was sticky
-One elevator was slow for the entire 7 days i spent and the second elevator was very slow
-The shower switch was lagging room 527
-There was no tissue paper box
-the staff was very helpful however the manger was not very friendly while talking to me
