Great hotel, shame no lift

The room was very pleasant and comfortable with a great bed. My only problem with the hotel was that it has no lift so I had to manhandle my heavy suitcase upstairs to my first floor room. Otherwise I thought it was a great hotel.

functional but, drab no frills

Not sure I’d choose here again. Easy for Heathrow though. Warm/hot water from the cold tap. No fridges in room for medication. comfy Bed but very tired room. No lifts in the hotel. Bar ok basic pub food available. Empty glasses all over corridors. Endless drab corridors between rooms. Overpriced shop on site; £4 for a small bottle of water! 25 quid for a bottle of wine that is 9 from Sainsburys! POD access was good though making it easy to T5 for 8.75 per person.

Ideal for viewing action of Heathrow, balcony terrace. Rooms 191 -195 . beware of sticky patch on wall above toilet in 195 (not my fault). Bit cramped location for urinal!. Room as a whole was good, though window slightly foggy for photographing planes flying out. (if that makes sense.)

This was our second or third stay at this hotel and the restaurant and bar had been renovated and the service was much more professional. The room was comfortable and this, coupled with the changes to the restaurant made it an enjoyable stay.

I've stayed here twice now and both times have been a great experience. Convenient access to Heathrow with easy transport to terminal 5 with the Pod. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Love the aviator restaurant and bar, great food and a cool view of the runways.

Great place to stay for ease of getting to Heathrow terminal 5 and the tubes. For a long term stay to visit London, opt for a hotel closer to the city itself as the reideninto London takes about 40 minutes on the tube. The hotel itself is a little dated and worn, Otherwise not a bad place to stay overall.
