Hotel lobby was excellent and the rooms were small, but clean. No hotel phones; they ask you to WhatsApp any communication to their Front Desk. Good proximity to London Heathrow.
Biggest disappointment was, neither of our rooms had hot water. We checked-in, went to dinner and then tried to take showers before bed. No hot water. Staff checked both rooms and stated the hot water did not work unfortunately. This is a standard amenity for hotels. Said their maintenance had gone home for the night.
Their solution was that I could wake-up my wife and children, who had gone to bed, and move our entire family just before midnight. I asked if I could simply take a shower in a working guest room and then return to my room to sleep, but they were unwilling.
To add insult to injury, they offered us 1 free breakfast…when nobody in my family was able to take showers that night or the following morning. At check-out, the Front Desk said that their maintenance had fixed the problem just that morning, but we ran the water for 30 minutes prior to leaving and still no hot water.
Sad, as all we wanted for the night was a clean bed and showers before our long flight home. Disappointing stay overall.
