"Lovely helpful staff in a good location."
Arrived and the staff were very helpful and friendly with high professionalism. No car park but you can park for a fee close by, I felt this was a little disappointing as it cost £25 for the one visit and I couldn't get my car out during this time. The rooms were very compact and we had a few issues with stain on bath mat, dust in some areas , splits in my daughters bed sheets and no fridge in room with the tiniest wardrobe ever. My daughter and I were staying for three nights, four days and couldn't hang our clothes up as there was a ironing board and iron stand in the wardrobe too. We did complain and the staff were excellent. Slight problem as they promised I could have a fridge but when we arrived back from a day out , no fridge and I had to ask again at reception. Breakfast excellent, one morning I asked for coffee and it turned up when I was getting my cereal but no pot so I had to ask for one. My daughter did not have a knife and fork and we had to ask again no major but not what I really expected for a quality hotel. I was given two complementary drinks but feel that was a little cop out.

"Hotel in the centre of Bath"
As title suggests this hotel is all about the location. It's a very run down hotel with no facilities but we wanted a couple of days in Bath as tourists so we only wanted somewhere to sleep. Some reviews, and a complaints while we were there from another guest, have reacted quite extremely ; more likely they were expecting something better but would you from the cheapest price on this website in the centre of Bath? One bad thing was the night porters ringing every soul he knew outside the hotel which happened to be outside our first floor room, too hot to close the window, try not to disturb your own guests!

"Great location for exploring Bath highlights"
With a nearly perfect location for exploring Bath, the property has (limited) onsite parking (£15 overnight) which is convenient for any one-night or weekend stay. Quirky combination of. Row of townhouses, not very suited to those with mobility issues or wheelchair bound from what we saw. Rooms are very small but well appointed, dramatic touches. Wouldn't recommend standard room for long stay due to size, but great for short visit. Bar service was less than stellar. Very expensive cocktails that were reportedly a new menu and I wouldn't recommend ordering from it as nothing we tried was good - three different cocktails all tasting of little more than sour lime cordial. A £30 mistake.

"Can't beat the location"
Staff are excellent and very friendly, easy check in and out. There was a certain amount of noise - but no more than expected for a city center hotel.

"Stone throw from the baths"
Reasonable hotel close to everything. Breakfast was fine Room was small with en-suite although people who complain they have to share booked a room without en-suite. So not really a complaint there. Check before you book. Staff friendly. Walk up the stairs to the top floors is a bit challenging.

It was really good, clean and comfortable. It would have been ideal if there was parking provided by the hotel. It had all the equipment for a stay and well served with modern amenities. My girlfriend really liked it and we would definitely recommend to others who visit Bath.

"Nice Break"
We stayed for 2 nights and we were allocated the Orchid room, my parents were in the Chinese. We all found the rooms to be lovely and comfortable and the only thing we found wrong was the lighting. There were plenty of lamps in our room, but as it was in the basement area it was very dark and the main light, although on a dimmer could not be turned up high. The lighting in the bathroom was excellent. My parents found their room to be the same, even though they were on the ground floor. Breakfast was wonderful, with an excellent choice. The hotel is ideally situated with a lovely 10 minute walk to the town centre and also has onsite parking. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.
