lovely concierge and front desk staff. Breakfast was lovely and chef greeted guests with a lovely tart. bar was nice and comfortable. parking was next to the hotel and reasonable. Location - amazing and all things within walking distance. Had dinner at a nice Italian just over the bridge and walked from hotel. Great running routes if you are a runner!

The room was spacious, it an incredible location, the staff was really friendly and the breakfast was great.

Great facilities. The breakfast was a bit pricey for the food but the spa is lovely and the rooms impeccably clean and incredible service.

The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the Roman Baths. Best advice for parking is to park in South gate only a 15 minute walk, We parked all night for 14 pounds. The hotel itself is beautifully presented and has great character. They really have made a beautiful effort to make every room different and special. The bar is defiantly a must whilst your here, perfect for either starting your evening or ending. We stayed in a Cosy Bedroom, perfect for a night or two stay if your not bothered about too much space. The room was very snug but it had everything you would need including sky TV and a fan, thankfully as it was rather hot when we visited. Not forgetting to mention the larder cupboard they keep stocked up with cold drinks and snacks free for their customers, which I thought was a touch. I recommend this hotel highly and you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful stay in Bath and the Villa made it even better. Fantastic location, upgraded on room, hotel staff very kind, helpful and courteous. Highly recommend!

My wife and I spend three nights in Bath at the Edgar Town House. We found it to be very comfortable and the staff very helpful. One thing to be aware of: stairs, lots of them. You need to go up stairs to get into the front door. The rooms are on the upper floors and there are more stairs to climb as there is no lift. The desk clerk when we checked in helped, but we still needed to bring up most of our bags. Definitely not a good place for those with mobility issues. Breakfast was excellent. You get a choice of a number of different dishes and they are generous with helpings. The room was comfortable, though a bit warm as the weather was in the 80s the week we stayed. There were both a ceiling fan and a desk fan and the windows open, so we kept things reasonably comfortable. The beds were firm and comfy, but they did bounce a bit too much when we layed down on them. Tea and instant coffee were available in the room. Two bottles of water were put in the room each day along with some packaged cookies. The shower stall was really tiny, buut water pressure was excellent and hot water was plenty hot. All in all a fine choice of a hotel.

Will definitely stay here again. Great facilities and so central. Everything was so clean and modern. Real milk in the fridge so I could have a cup of tea after a long trip. Staff was wonderful.

Lovely room, overall building and staff. Only downside for me is that you aren't provided with tea and coffee facilities in your room, instead you have to phone for room service to bring some up for you at a charge which was a bit of a surprise to find out.... Otherwise lovely thank you

The Arlyington is located an easy walk to Bath city center. We stayed in the Orchid room and it was lovely! It was quiet and very peaceful. My husband and I enjoyed going to the lounge in the afternoon for a drink and a chat with Johnny at the front desk and other travelers. I highly recommend staying here!
