"Gorgeous hotel in a convenient location."
As soon as I entered the hotel I was pleasantly surprised! Walked to the front desk and was introduced to Zaira and James, the nicest/professional staff I have ever met in my travels. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Everyday I got a hello and a smile. The rooms were immaculate! The housekeeping staff was superb! Literally I had absolutely no complaints and I'm a very fussy traveler. I truly felt at home and hated to leave. This will be my LA hotel when I return. Thank you bicycle hotel for a wonderful stay!

"Nice hotel for overnight."
The hotel entrance is difficult to get to, it can only be accessed from one side of the street. The other entrance to the hotel is not marked because it goes to an apartment complex and you have to squeeze through a couple of parking lots until you get there. The rooms were nice with wood floors, well lit and clean, however the bathroom had some ants and tiny baby roaches. These insects were easy to kill and then go about your business. It just really stood out in comparison to how nice everything else was.

"Nice, cozy hotel"
The hotel has a nice, casual atmosphere about it with a ping pong table in the back and a many places to relax in quiet. The rooms are comfortable and inviting. There were a couple items that could cause some people to be a little unhappy like a small parking area and a quick closing elevator, but for my group it made for some good laughs. We definitely are planning to return to this hotel.

"Home away from Home"
Just wanted to spend the long weekend away from the normal space of our home, but we do not want to travel for long hours. When inside the the vicinity, it feels like you're in a different place, place that is not near your residence. Although there are some areas that needs remodeling (Clock Tower), everything else is okay.

"Close to the metro "
Pros: just across the street from a metro station Pros: has a pool Pros: places to eat out nearby Cons: not very sound proof (rooms overlooking the pool would be a nightmare for noise from the pool area) & rooms with a "view" are floor to ceiling glass so lets lots of noise in Cons: food/drinks expensive & menu upmarket but would have been good to have some "basic food" on the menu (especially when staying with family/younger people)

"2nd Visit to Harbor Inn And Suites"
This was my second visit to the Harbor Inn And Suites. Once again, I had a quiet room that was very clean. The hotel is offset from the traffic from the main street about one-half of a block away. The neighborhood felt safe. I got just what I was hoping for. I would definitely use this hotel again.

"Hotel in Little Tokyo"
Hotel is within walking distance (10 minutes with luggage) of Union station in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles and 1 minute walk to Gold line train at little Tokyo/Arts District station. 10 Story hotel we were on the 8th floor at the rear overlooking car park which I suspect is a quieter room than those at the front. The top two floors were being renovated during our stay but the noise was not intrusive. Several Japanese markets nearby and many Japanese restaurants around. Closest American style supermarket required train trip (no car) which we rolled into one of our many sightseeing trips. Rooms were Japanese themed and a little bit tired but may be in for a future makeover.

South Pasadena is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in South Pasadena, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your South Pasadena hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
