"Great apart-hotel next to the beach. "
We stayed in a studio with a kitchenette so that I could cook my sons, 1 of whom has severe allergies, meals. It was great and we spent a lot of the time at the beach. The hotel had things we could borrow, like buckets and spades and deck chairs. We had a fab time. Staff very helpful too.

Nice location, parking was definitely a challenge. We were on the first floor and guests were up at 4:30-5am loading up, so the door banging and running up/down stairs was definitely heard. Staff is nice and accommodating.

"Pleasant Surprise in Venice Beach!!"
My recent stay at the Hotel Erwin was such a pleasant surprise. This little gem in the heart of the action in Venice Beach is worth a stay. The staff could not have been nicer arranging for me and early check in, late check out and free beach chair during my stay. Our TV was not working and a call to the front desk resulted in a hotel engineer at my door 10 minutes later to solve the problem. The rooms are comfortable with charming balconies and loaded with snacks and a mini bar at a $$cost, but free coffee and welcome waters. The location of the hotel is fabulous!! Just a short walk and you are in the heart of the boardwalk action in Venice Beach and a couple of blocks the other way we were quietly strolling the beautiful canal area. There is a great restaurant called Barlo but the best feature is the roof top bar called "High". The view was spectacular and the happy hour from 9-11 was great too. There are heaters and blankets available to keep you cozy after the spectacular Pacific Sunset goes down.. I really can't wait to go back!! Thanks especially to hotel staff, Camila and Jennifer for making me feel so welcome.

"It was a decent hotel."
The hotel in and of itself was fine but the main issue we waa parking. The staff said they had valet parking but that wasn't true. They recommended a parking garage a couple of blocks down the street which was the nearest And cheapest parking garage around. To park overnight was $12 and during the day was $8. That was a real inconvenience for the entire trip. Parking at the beach outside of the hotel was $8 for all day but no coming or going in and out or you'd be charged, and you had to vacsnt beach parking at midnight. Again, the parking was the worst part of the trip.

"This Place Has Character"
The hotels gives the feeling that you are inside the TV series "Melrose Place". It is an old building that you can feel it has historical importance. Location is excellent; great proximity to the beach and to all that Venice Beach has to offer and in addition is very close to Santa Monica and all of its attraction for a much economical price. The Suites are very clean and the staff is very friendly. The area overall is great, very safe and a police station right down the road. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this hotel very highly.

"Exactly that, great location, nice staff ."
This is a great location, and good value. Friendly professional staff, easy parking, (free) in a near by car park. Great breakfast at 50% in next door cafe. Try and get the cottage straight space and a yard to chill in. The surroundings a Venice beach, cosmopolitan and edgy, if you don't like that stay somewhere else.

"Inexpensive Hotel near the marina"
I had to attend a work conference at some USC offices in the bank towers across from Marina del Rey. Motel was reasonably close, and the price was much, much lower than anything nearby. It is clearly owned and run by a single family. Given the extremely small staff, the rooms were clean enough, and in good conduction. No cracks in the mirrors, bathroom fixtures, everything worked. There was some minor damage to the carpet near the door due to the snug fit, and being scraped when the door is opened, but I imagine replacing it would be very expensive. All the lights had been replaced by daylight LED bulbs and was more than adequate when everything was turned on. Although they provide coffee in the office in the morning, they didn't provide any munchies, which is fine with me; helped keep the priced down. There was adequate parking for one vehicle per room at no addtional charge.

Venice is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Venice, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Venice hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
