We thoroughly enjoyed our night at the Rialto and we have stayed at many high end hotels in Victoria. The service, room, wine, food, all superb. We will stay there the next time we go. Location can’t be beat!

Overall the hotel serves its purpose: Great price, clean rooms, comfortable beds. The downside was that the room was stifling hot and there was nothing that could be done about it. When we arrived the thermostat said 82 degrees (28C!) Even in November - so we left the window open all night and that didn't really feel safe.Otherwise, it's a good place to stay.

Sidney is on the northern end of the Saanich Peninsula, just east of Victoria International Airport. The town has 3.5 km (2.25 mi) of beach and a fishing pier. The harbor houses boat builders and marine suppliers, and visitors can book fishing charters and whale-watching tours of adjacent Haro Strait. Sidney is the only port-of-call for the Washington State Ferry, which connects to Anacortes, WA.
