Girls trip with the twins

The first morning in the breakfast room the attending lady was utterly rude. She pushed her way in front of people to fill the fridge and slammed things around, it was ridiculous. Front staff were not very friendly either. They just stared at the computer screens and never greeted you

We had a lovely one night stay with a gorgeous ocean and pier view. We woke up to see the lovely sunrise on the ocean. The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a full size kitchen table in the room too. There was lots of space, including kitchenette and living area, and a lovely bathroom. We would stay here again! We were thankful it had airconditioning.

Booked it as an affordable hotel near the airport and was pleasantly surprised by the location. It’s right on the waterfront and the kids loved exploring the little area near the shore and pier in the morning. We saw seals!

Very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely Inn. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean with comfy beds and good air conditioning. Very close to everything anyone could need. We look forward to our next trip and staying here again!

Pros Right on the beach (we stayed in a deluxe room) Clean Free breakfast Kitchenette Walkable town (note: most things close at 1700) Walkable waterfront Friendly staff Can book and board whale watching from the lobby of the Cannery 30 minutes to Butchard Gardens and 30 minutes to Victoria (aprox drive times) Con A pool would have been a nice feature Only two tables in the breakfast area (maybe convert the indoor bike storage to more seating) The deluxe rooms are in a separate building so walking breakfast back to our room was awkward (not a deal breaker) We were travelling with our two teenage sons. My favorite things were walking on Glass beach looking for sea glass and exploring the tidal pools, exploring the town and the waterfront all by foot. Also, visit the bistro on the pier. The fish and chips and atmosphere were awesome!
