Beds were stiff. Like plywood. Remote was missing. Bathroom was a bit dingy.

The receptionist was lovely and offered to run us through Manchester’s attractions. We loved the rustic interior of the room and the aircon was easy to navigate. Thanks for having us :)

Great location Near the train station

Nice modern hotel very close to Piccadilly Station and all the amenities of central Manchester. Our room was a good size, had useful amenities and was kept very clean by the daily housekeeping. The breakfast buffet is very good too and there is an onsite bar and restaurant. The hotel was suffering from a couple of maintenance issues: one lift was out of action and the room A/C didn't work but we were advised of this by the check-in clerk and offered a no-fee cancellation if we weren't happy with the in-room temperature. But since the window opened and the weather was cool, this was not a problem.

The receptionist lady was a bit combative with me when I told her that when I booked the hotel it indicated that there was onsite parking. She said that I did not see that because they did not have onsite parking. We looked it up on Expedia and it said 'height restrictions for onsite parking'. She then said I can just go pay for the offside parking because even if they had onsite parking, nothing indicates that it would have been free. I issue was not about payment but that i chose that hotel because it said onsite parking. She needs to learn to just apologize for the misunderstanding and talk to customers better.
