Great location, right on Great Western Road and close to Byers Road/Ashton Lane and about 10 minutes from the University. The hotel is nice and great value for money. It's looking a bit care worn in parts but you're not paying for the Ritz so all good. Off street parking is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Recommended, especially if you're there for something Uni related.

Such a gorgeous hotel and such lovely staff, would definitely return

We found the property very nice, clean, and efficient. The staff were very pleasant at check in and out, and the room is uniquely sized to fit an old building with gorgeous windows and all amenities needed for a night in the city. The cleaning staff we encountered were polite and helpful, and we had everything we needed. The parking across the street is useful and access to city sites and restaurants is fantastic. It is associated with a big branded hotel chain, but it feels like a fun boutique hotel. Though we didn’t use the bar or restaurant on site, they looked welcoming and offered a nice variety. We appreciated the nice stay for our night traveling through Glasgow.

Overall our stay was good , although let down by a couple of issues . Surprised that when returning from our concert around 11.20pm , the bar had been closed and could only get a drink by queuing at reception . The fact there was a lot of returning guests after the concert meant there was a bit of a wait. Seemed like a strange decision on a Friday night , after a big concert . Especially as I’d just stayed the on the previous Sunday for another concert and Bar was open. Also heard from some of the guests about whether food would be available , which they were told it would be … there wasn’t , therefore Uber eats was doing the food. Also a bit disappointed that in morning went for a shower , only to find … no hot water available . Reported to reception on check out. Overall I like the Village Hotel . Would like to add that the night porters where excellent and worked hard to get everyone drinks… not their fault .

The staff were lovely, the room was immaculate, breakfast was delicious (shout out to the mimosas!), and the beds were very comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again!

Central part of town. Beautiful accommodation.

Breakfast was good staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing that could have been better was some biscuits in the room.
