Great location, have stayed here before. very noisy with party in hotel on Saturday night. had to ask to be moved to another floor due to vile people staying in room next door.
Room and floor was changed straight away, staff excellent and made my stay another success.
Recommended the hotel to a friend who booked in at the last minute on Monday night; she loved the hotel, location and facilities and she also will be staying again.

We paid for a family room (2 adults, 2 children) and stayed just one night. We were allocated a room on the third floor with a partial sea view. The room was spacious, clean and well heated. The room could be ventilated by opening a French style window that revealed a small balcony. There was an en-suite bathroom that has perhaps seen better days but it was adequate and I am not going to gripe about a few minor plumbing issues as our stay was not diminished significantly in any way.
All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel struggles to hold on to any semblance of the grandeur that it must have held in its heyday but there does seem to be an attempt to maintain the hotel to a reasonable standard.
In the evening we went down to the ballroom to watch the cabaret style entertainment and to enjoy a few drinks. We enjoyed the show and were pleased that we went.
We slept well. The beds were firm but comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and was generally alright but could have been better. Once again I am not going to complain too much but if you prefer your English breakfast items grilled and not deep-fried you had best avoid the breakfast at this hotel.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it to be better than we had expected after reading previous reviews. We all agreed that we would stay again maybe for a bit longer next time but we would give the breakfast a miss.

When we first entered the room it was freezing, once the radiator was put on it soon warmed up. I think the rooms should be warm prior to arrival at the hotel.
All the staff at the hotel we pleasant and accommodating to any issue that arrived instantly.
The meals were of good quality and good supply when ordering meals.
We were pleased we were so close to the promenade and enjoyed walking on it daily both morning and evening we could not believe how wide it is.
Loved the swimming pool in the hotel, and used it every day, not impressed with the fact we had to go to it in gowns and slippers provided, it seems a tad over the top in this day and age, we have stayed in many four star hotels with pools, gyms and private clients, casual is the generation were in, they don't have gown and slippers in rooms, guests are not expected to prance about in lifts and corridors looking half dressed just to go swimming.
On the whole we enjoyed are stay in llandudno the town was exceptionally clean and the drivers were polite quite a shock in a nice way, keep up the good work,l only wish it could spread throughout the country.

From the moment we arrived the welcome we received was warming and friendly. Once we made it to our room, the lady at the front desk even called to make sure everything was ok and offered to bring fresh local milk to our room. The young lady who looked after us at breakfast was a delight and even assisted with some suggestions on things to do in the local area. The rooms were amazing and the view was spectacular. I want to go back just to spend time at the hotel. If it was up to me, we would have stayed indoors for the duration of our stay. Truely amazing experience.

Upon arrival, self check in felt unwelcoming. I understand this is done for speed and convenience, but when it didn't work we had to be seen anyway (As did most other guests). The food in the the hotel pub was good and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

I had mistakenly booked the wrong month, the staff worked tirelessly for 3hours to resolve my issue. One member of staff worked way past his shift to make sure my family could be settled in. HIE staff you're a real credit to your hotel and I to see you soon.
