We requested a no smoking room but were given a smoking room. Thankfully they had a no smoking room available and we switched almost immediately. The carpet in our room looks as if it needed a cleaning. The bed was pretty comfortable. We always appreciate having a mini fridge and microwave in our room. The next morning we went to breakfast with plenty of time before it was to end, but there were a few items that need to be replenished and no one did so until another guest requested it and then still it was done very sparingly. Someone is always "standing by" and watching in the breakfast area and I really didn't like that. Both the coffee and the orange juice were so watered down it was ridiculous. For the price you have to pay, even for the budget hotels, at least good coffee, real o j and a decent breakfast is not too much to ask for.

Probably the best hotel I stayed in, overall, covering a recent trip that lasted five days with overnight stays in four states. If I find myself within 150 miles of Perryville again, and need a place to stay, the Super 8 will be my first, and hopefully only, choice.

We had a very nice, 3-night stay, 3-17-17 through 3-19-17. The room was nice, the breakfast was great, and for the most part the staff was excellent. On our last night we returned to the hotel at 5:15 pm to find our room had not been made up. We had intended to stay in the room for the rest of the night. I called the desk clerk to report this and to have someone service our room. He was most disinterested in our situation and couldn't have cared less. I finally convinced him to address the problem. Meanwhile, my husband checked all 4 floors of the hotel and did not see any cleaning personnel or carts except at the far end of our hallway. Our room was in the middle. Clearly we had been overlooked. A little later, a nice woman came to the room and offered to make up the room. At this point we realized we had to get dressed again and step out so the room could be cleaned. I know things like this happen, but we were very disappointed in the attitude of the desk clerk. I feel we should have been compensated somehow for this inconvenience.
