My room was a good size and very clean and the view from the window was that of the Leeds/ Liverpool canal where I watched some of the beautiful Swans along with some geese glide by in the evening. From booking in and until I left the hotel I found the staff to be very helpful. There was plenty of choice when it came to my breakfast. So I will be suggesting to family and friends that if they are thinking of going to visit Skipton then they should stay at The Skipton Hotel

Great Location

Good location with car parking but suffers from no A/C in bedroom’s. Fans are provided but open windows makes for a disturbing sleep from road noise. No hand towel in my bathroom- and the ‘spare towel’ cupboard was empty. Good shower and bathroom and the mornings breakfast was more than adequate with a good choice. Will no doubt be back, but conscious of limitations.

Lovely, calm place to stop off for an overnight trip to Leeds. We've stayed here three times now while visiting family in Leeds and are always greeted by a warm welcome. The rooms are simple but comfortable and very clean, offering a good night's rest. Breakfast is very tasty and the buffet works well with plenty to choose from. Overall, represents great value for bed and breakfast within a brisk walk of the city centre.

Very good 2 bedroom & bathroom apartment in centre of Hull. Very clean and modern with separate rooms for privacy. Communication and access very good and easy. Short walk to lots of restaurants and bars in town.

This was a really enjoyable experience . Gamekeepers has good sized and affordable rooms, a great restaurant -lovely food and a decent sized menu. We decided to have our evening meal there throughout the stay and it was excellent. We also had complimentary use of the spa and pool facilities and again they were amazing . Gamekeepers went beyond our expectations and we will definitely be back .
