"A good base to explore Tuscany from, short stays"
This hotel is 45 minutes drive from Pisa and 35 minutes from Florence. You definitely need a car, as the hotel is actually in Empoli and not Vinci, the town is very sleepy not many restaurants. We didn't try the hotel food as their restaurant always looked closed. The hotel was very quiet, more of a business hotel than a holiday destination. Would recommend this hotel as short stay venue. The room was comfortable, modern bathroom, Sky TV, free safe also parking was free which was a surprise. We only used this hotel as a base to explore the surrounding area. It well positioned, close to the main motorway and within easy reach of the toll road. It is not a Florence hotel but as we didn't want to be surrounded by tourists it was ok and we gained a feel for real Italy.

"lovely hotel centrally located"
Just got back from 5 days in Florence. The Santa Maria Norvella ticked all the boxes for our stay. The hotel is perfectly situated with the very heart of the city being just 5 minutes walk away. Our room was beautiful and in fact was more a suite than a room. It was beautifully decorated and immaculate. We had complimentary fruit waiting for us on our arrival and received a voucher for €40 to use in the hotel bar. We had clean towels twice daily and each night we would return to our room to find our curtains were already drawn, slippers were at the side of the bed and a sweet was put by each of our pillowes. Breakfast was plentiful and the waiting staff were always friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend the Santa Maria Novella and would absolutely stay there again.

"Great location within easy walk from the station."
We had a great time here from the first moment we arrived (02.30). very comfortable room, good shower and soft towels! Copious breakfast for all pallets and diets, and superb uova strapellata always. The hotel is well placed for explorers as it is near S. Marcos in the north allowing one to head off in any southbound route without missing any of the subtly hidden gems in the city of which there are many, with il Duomo always looming in view along the high narrow streets. First class location.

"Nice Modern Hotel with all the amenities"
This was a great hotel. Fairly new and modern and had everything I could want, slippers, robes, and friendly staff. The rooms were tidy, had powerful air conditioning. A little small but that seems to be standard for all Italian hotels. The hotel is south of the river and not in the heart of the city but close enough that it was easy to get to via bus or just walking. It was actually a bonus because we got to check out a lot of the local spots who were all very friendly to tourists. Towards the end I had a small dispute with the fridge supplies, they said I drank 2 bottles of water (which we didn't) but the staff was friendly and resolved the issue without incident. I would definitely stay here again when I revisit Florence.

"great hotel"
Had a fab 4 night stay, king size comfy bed, white fluffy towels. However there was a large dressing table with the tv on top , no mirror above, and a shortage of electrical sockets. They did sort the problem out. Breakfast was very good too!!. Would definateley recommend this hotel, also 2 minutes from the train station, and 15 minutes walk to the Duomo.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Brusciana hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
