We just stayed here for the start of our honeymoon. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a bottle of champagne, and accommodated everything that we needed. They greeted us everytime we were in the lobby. I wish i could leave a 10 star rating!! Thank you so very much. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was comfortable! Pros: Room was very large compared to our other stays given that it was still very close and walkable to all the main attractions. Room was also very clean! The staff was great and we appreciated the breakfast each morning. Con: I don't think this is an issue of just the hotel, but there seemed to be an odor coming from the drains at all times in the bathroom. This seemed to be an issue all over Florence which was a bit off-putting. Not sure if this is something the hotel can solve for, but thought to just mention it. The room was spotless, so it definitely wasn't an issue of cleanliness.

Over all the hotel was clean and well kept. Excellent location within a shortish walk to the Duomo. Plenty of dining and shopping options. The front desk and bar staff were excellent. My only complaint would be that the wait staff left something to be desired. They were in no certain rush to respond to requests.

Review for IQ Hotel Firenze I recently had the pleasure of staying at IQ Hotel Firenze along with two of my sisters, and I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had — largely thanks to an outstanding desk clerk named Jean. From the moment we arrived, Jean’s warm smile and welcoming demeanor set the tone for an exceptional stay. Jean went above and beyond in every interaction, taking the time to explain everything we needed with incredible patience and clarity. Whether it was assisting with directions, recommending local spots, or helping navigate hotel amenities, he made sure we felt comfortable and cared for. His excellent customer service skills truly stood out, making us feel more like a valued guest than just another visitor. The other hotel staff were great also! Smiling and making sure each gave valuable service. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and perfectly located. The amenities were outstanding — from the comfortable rooms to the well-maintained facilities, everything was thoughtfully designed to enhance the guest experience. The spa and sauna were a plus. The breakfast was great, offering a wide selection of delicious and fresh options that made every morning a treat. It was Jean’s kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality, paired with the hotel's excellent offerings, that made our stay especially memorable. It’s rare to encounter such an outstanding team member who clearly loves what he does.

I stayed here for two weeks, most places in florence from the hotel were walkable. The staff was friendly and nice. They charged a city tax for 2 weeks when they said I would only get charged the first 7 days so that was a bummer. Overall safe place.

First off, this is one of the most modern hotels I've stayed at in Europe. One of the first reasons that drew me to booking a stay here. Very sleek and has all the amenities you could need complete with a very nice gym. I had dinner in their restaurant one night and wow it was amazing!!! The food was excellent along with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. As for my room, it was a very nice size. Not a shoebox that I was expecting for typical European hotels. The bathroom was a very nice size including a bidet. This room was incredibly clean. Not a speck of dust anywhere. And I loved the minibar that was stocked with drinks like water and juices as well as snacks all free of charge to the guests. There was also coffee and tea available. I would say for the negatives is to stay away from Room 101! It's not the ideal room if you want to get sleep. The layout of the room is not great being that it faces the restaurant and the outside. If you can sleep through anything then this might not be a problem, but for those that do want to sleep after a long day of sightseeing, I would say stay away from this room. Now to be fair they were willing to give me a different room but at that point I had 3 nights left. It would’ve been a hassle to move. Also, the location is a bit far from the center. 15-20 min to the center even longer to Ponte Vecchio. All in all it was still a pleasurable stay even with the negatives. The people here are super nice and willing to help you with anything.

They really make an effort to make sure you have everything you need. My only critique is I wish my room had a better view but that’s not anyone’s fault. Would highly recommend it. Big hotel service in a smaller boutique hotel feeling.
