10-15 min walk to subways going in different directions. Very nice rooms, comfortable and with enough space in separate bathrooms and kitchen area. Kitchen needs to be supplied with utensils. Good Heat and AC units in bedroom and kitchen areas. Not much of a view for this room. Continental Breakfast well done with juice , coffee, cereal , bagels, etc

On checking in I had some difficulty in securing the continental breakfast that was included with my reservation. But I showed my documentation and received the entitled vouchers. Otherwise, no big problems. Hotel staff was agreeable and tried to be helpful. My room was small but kept clean except for day 1 when it wasn't refreshed until after 5PM. Hotel offers parking if you drive but it's expensive and, at times, not available. There's a small cafe on-site for snacking and light meals. Also, a terrace bar on the 2nd floor. The hotel appeared to have quite a number of international visitors. And it's a good location for sightseeing in downtown Brooklyn. The BAM and Barclays are walkable. You're at the foot of the Manhattan Bridge and a long block from the Brooklyn Bridge. If you walk the Manhattan you end up in Chinatown. Walk the Brooklyn and you can weave to the WTC. The nearest subway is at DeKalb Ave B,Q,R. There's a non-service passageway 3 blocks away. I found a supermarket down the street and the famous Junior's restaurant across from the subway.

Great location, area felt safe, lots of local convenience stores around. The hotel felt a little like a rose between the thorns, surrounded by run down industrial buildings which didn't make the view out of the window anything special however the hotel itself and staff were fantastic.

this hotel was located well for us. We prepaid our room with Expedia but didn't get the room we paid for. After a fairly long wait, we were moved to a king size room. But after that, everything was just fine. This hotel isn't luxurious but it is fine for a visit to Brooklyn. The only thing we missed was a chair that was comfortable.

The hotel was cool. The front desk staff was pleasant, and made check in and check out smooth. The room was pretty small, and the walls are pretty thin, so you can hear your neighbors if they're talking louder than inside voices. The hotel is doing renovations but it didn't affect me because they finished for the day by check-in. The neighborhood is cool, lots of warehouses, but pretty safe, and in walking distance of food and entertainment. Overall, it was good for a short stay.

Stayed here in April 2016 with my partner in a loft suite. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. A wide range of snacks were provided, as well as complimentary tea and coffee, with a proper coffee machine and takeaway cups. The level of attention to detail with the decor in the room and hotel was very high, with some really impressive artwork throughout. The hotel staff were absolutely brilliant, very welcoming and helpful, and went out of their way to make out stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is a little out of the way but we found it very easy to get around. The hotel also provides what is described as a shuttle service, but was essentially a chauffeur service to some nearby stations, with high-end cars and informative, friendly drivers. Overall I would 100% absolutely, definitely recommend this hotel!!

Clean, simple room with decent storage and nice bathroom. Unfortunately the building is currently surrounded by construction and so it is loud starting at about 6:30am. We ended up changing rooms because of the noises from unfortunately the shower in the second room had scalding water or no pressure. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location with yummy restaurants in the area and an easy trip into the city.

The landmark Brooklyn Bridge links Manhattan with the city’s most populous borough. Waterfront Brooklyn Heights offers superb views of Lower Manhattan. Renowned for its brownstones and leafy neighborhoods, Brooklyn embodies America’s “melting pot.” Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and Jewish communities add to the cultural mix. Highlights include Coney Island, Prospect Park, and Brooklyn Museum of Art.
