Absolutely horrible experience. Its in an area where going outside during the night is dangerous, during the day is questionable also. The "parking" includes 5 spaces in a back alley that is difficult to get into without damaging your vehicle. Our room had a train directly outside of the window that went past every 30 minutes ALL NIGHT LONG. The hallways smelled like cigarettes. The shower in our room was the stall type and because the floors werent level and slanted away from the drain, the water from the shower would flood the bathrooms and living area instead of going down the drain. Just horrible. The staff was kind enough.

Great Potential Wasted due to Poor Management and Terrible Housekeeping. The area is sketchy and noisy, but this could be a nice hotel in a lower end neighborhood if it were well-managed. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be managed at all. Other than a single, rotating, bored person glued to a smartphone at the front desk, this hotel seems to have no full-time staff. The hotel actually is well-outfitted in certain ways, with an elegant-looking lobby and reasonably well-appointed rooms, but maintenance appears non-existent. The hallways are not clean and the outside of each door is dented or badly scratched. If you were to look at a picture of a hallway, you might well conclude that the hotel had been abandoned. I was a guest for six days, and was in my room for much of the day, yet I never heard or saw anyone cleaning the common areas. My room was cleaned just once in six days, and only because I requested it. My trash cans were overflowing. The smell of marijuana is ever-present other than in the lobby. My room smelled of it. If this were priced as a budget hotel, it might be worth a short stay, but at its current price point, travelers can do better at other Brooklyn hotels.

An OK hotel, shame about the noise

Very noisy with the trains and main road outside. Even with the windows shut it sounded like the train was coming in through the window. Cleanliness was OK, seemed very tired in some parts.

Community was safe to walk around. Train was noisy during the evening. Rooms were not clean, with hair in the shower and bathroom. Keys didn't work, and gave me the master key twice, which was unsafe for all guests. They stored luggage but offered no storage luggage tags and allowed guests to place and remove their own bags, giving everyone access to stored bags. Paint is chipping from hotel doors, carpets in hallways are dirty. It looks like the owners don't care about thr property. Expedia charged far more for the room than the hotel actually charges.

Staff was decent, room was below expectation, area felt unsafe especially at night. Area was extremely noisy, Long Island Railroad runs directly across street from hotel, dining choices in area are extremely limited.

Room was clean and a decent size. It was perfect for my overnight stay to catch a flight at JFK airport. It was near the subway and a short car ride to different places The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. I would stay here again.

Really nice and comfortable with friendly staff!

Love the hotel, room was clean, staff were super lovely, friendly and were always happy to help if we had any queries and request. Only issue with the hotel is that the LIRR runs directly in front of the room where we stayed and it was so loud at night and there were a few loud, inconsiderate peolle next to us. If it wasn't for the LIRR I would give it a 10/10!

Room was musty and smell of smoke… left with a cough… hardly any parking … the room key was not programmed for my room they said the machine is not working …. Vending machines were broken… then charger bought was not working!!! They didn’t even have my reservation….. asking me for confirmation email!! These people are a joke! Front desk girl on the phone talking to people like as if she is in her living room. Not professional at all

I would not recommend this hotel, nor the neighborhood. I must have been unconscious when I booked this for an upcoming wedding celebration. The hotel room is 50 yards from elevated trains going both directions. The noise is a problem, the neighborhood is another problem: not crime per se, but dirty and nothing to do or see. The staff is friendly and nice, and the hotel is clean and orderly on the inside. Good TV and beds, linens. There is no turn down service, which I didn't mind. I asked for more towels because there was no shower curtain and the water sprayed everywhere. Find somewhere else.

Reasonable budget option

The hotel offered good value for money, given its location - which was a key consideration for me. It was very close to the LIRR (noise could be an issue for some as the elevated line is right outside the hotel) and a short walk from the Subway. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The are plenty of shops and dining options within a 5-10 min walk. However, there was a smell of smoke at times - and the hotel looks like it could do with a refresh and clean.
