Williamsburg Lodge - A Colonial Williamsburg Hotel

"Very nice hotel within short walk of Williamsburg"
The hotel was a bargain. It is basically across the street from Colonial Williamsburg so everything is just a short walk. The room was nicely furnished, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and especially helpful in returning an item I left behind when I checked out. Breakfast is very expensive but they do have an option for coffee and danish, etc. in the lobby. I would definitely stay there again.

"Pool area caters to children of all ages. "
The checking in experience once I got up to the counter was smooth, easy. Our room was ready. The four children could not wait to get to the pool where they had a great time. The lifeguards were attentive. The arcade was great fun, but expensive with four children and two adults. The assistance in the arcade was great. This Great Wolf experience was the best. We have visited several times over the last 10 to 15 years.

Wonderful place to stay!! You are walking distance from everything!!! Hotel was comfortable but nothing fancy... I wish the bus system ran 30 mins to an hour later ( stops @ 10 pm) bc it was a little sketchy walking back on the trail @ night.

"Comfortable hotel"
We stayed at this hotel for three nights. We were satisfied with how clean the room was each time we arrived back from the theme park, and you could tell the staff respected our belongings that were misplaced. (Example: flip flops were neatly placed by the wall close to the sink.) I really appreciated the service. The blankets used in the room were very soft and comfortable as well, and I slept soundly all three nights. A very to-the-point hotel with great prices and great amenities. Thanks, Fort MacGruder Hotel! We enjoyed our stay.

Nice location close to Williamsburg attractions. Rooms are nice and comfortable, somewhat dated hotel with small pool but if you are staying there you are headed off to the attractions during the day. Room rate was reasonable and very nice staff.

"Convenient, Clean and Family Friendly"
We are happy to choose La Quinta. It is very close (<10 min driving) to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. There are many meal choices near the hotel and a 7-11 besides it. The hotel is dog friendly, you can see many cute dogs and kids love them. If you are not a big dog fan, no worries, the room is clean without any dog smell or stains. The front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful. Although the AC system is kind of old, it's functional. The bathroom is clean and with plenty of towels but a little bit slow sewer in the bathtub. The breakfast is nice with common choices and different from day to day. The staffs are working really hard to make sure there are enough food provided, especially during the peak time for breakfast.

Williamsburg is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Williamsburg, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Williamsburg hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
