Check in was a bit confusing on the part of the reservations clerk. Did not get a room with a water view as asked. Clerk had misinformation regarding the type of room with water views. My credit card was over charged and will handle that, do not believe it will be an issue. Stay here often

Went to resort for a quiet retreat after hectic DC stay. The adult (over 18) pool was filled with literally screaming children cannon balling into the water. The pool maintenance person said the family pools and hot tubs were out of order. I tried to use the hot tub, patiently waiting for the 8 intoxicated, cursing, fighting men who had taken up residency in it to leave. They did not leave. When I asked management about the situation, they shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. When I went into the main office, I went over to the concierge desk and asked for a dinner suggestion they said they knew nothing about the area but wanted to know if I would give them some time so they could do a presentation to sell me something. Really? That was it! We packed up and left, forfeiting the money we paid for the 2nd night. Couldn't leave fast enough! When I checked out early, I told the front desk why I was leaving. He said nothing and shrugged his sholders. Wow! Absolutely no customer service! Highly don't recommend!!

Having never stayed there and trying to find a place for W&M graduation this place is PHENOMENAL. It is ten minutes away, has a three pools, and just made the end of four years an awesome experience. I am not one to write reviews, but it was worth every penny.

Overall good. Was not aware we’d have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to our space. The shower didn’t get hot; the coffee maker was missing the carafe and the neighbors garbage sat on the front walk up for both days of our stay. That being said, check-in was fast and easy; the bed was comfortable. Beautiful grounds

Wonderfully quiet except for upstairs neighbors. Chose first floor so we didn’t have to pull suitcases up stairs. Kitchen minimally stocked. Refrigerator didn’t cool very well and our ice cream bars were never frozen. Plus the fridge ran all night long. Air conditioning was excellent. Housekeeping very well done. Staff was outstanding at registration and restaurant.
