Staff were all really friendly and accommodating (in particular Hazel in the bar/restaurant). Food was great at both dinner & breakfast and we experienced good service despite a wedding being hosted during our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of parking available. Just to note that there's no lift at the property, though there is an accessible ramp at the hotel entrance.

This was a perfect short stay for my father and I before heading to other parts of Scotland, it's very walkable to cute coffee shops and second hand stores, and restaurants! The flat was very cute and cozy and had everything we needed. They were quick to respond and made everything a breeze! Would recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay. This is a beautiful hotel, with so much character. The staff are lovely and very helpful. A comfy bed, well-stacked tea and coffee tray in my room, beautiful rural surroundings - what's not to like? I will stay again when next near Glasgow.
