There was nothing to like. My £95 room was tiny with two single beds and a tiny desk without a chair. It needed decorating . A curtain which wouldn’t pull properly was hanging off the curtain rail. The walls needed painting, the door had a piece of wood screwed onto it. The bathroom was a separate room on the landing and it was dirty, especially the toilet and the shower and the floor. I could not bear to use the shower. The only positive thing was that it’s very close to the train station. I will never use this guest house again.

The Ambassador Hotel is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and professional! The hotel is in a lovely locations, the rooms are all unique and have lovely views, comfortable beds, and luxury bedding. The restaurant is top notch!!!

The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was clean. Plenty 9f parking. Breakfast was good. But the evening meals were expensive and not as good as I would expect given how much they cost. We had our last meal there and as I'm a vegetarian, I'm limited anyway. They could not adjust I was told as the meals came ready made - so microwave food for £15 to £20. I ended up getting soup.

The Rocpool is a great place to stay in Inverness. It’s walkable into town, with a little uphill climb. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the room itself was very comfortable. The A/C was a huge plus since it was unusually warm during our stay. We had to leave before breakfast one morning for a day trip, and the hotel thoughtfully packed pastries, fruit, and sandwiches for us to take along, which we really appreciated. The hotel was also impressively quiet; it honestly felt like we had the entire property to ourselves. My only critique is the complete lack of counter space in the bathroom. I mean literally none. We had to keep all of our toiletries balanced on the edge of the tub. The trough sink looks nice aesthetically, but not at the expense of having any usable space.

Salles de bain rénovées mais les reste est un peu vieillot, tout de même confortable et tranquille. J’ai dû changer de chambre car la première chambre n’avait pas de climatisation. Le déjeuner était complet et varié. Bien correct dans l’ensemble.

Nostalgic historical hotel with beautiful lobby. Rooms are worn and need renovation. Beds are small and hard. Rooms are warm and lack ventilation. Nice large bathtubs. Parking is 2 blocks away, but hotel is in great location.
