Rotherfield Greys Vacation Packages

The room was run down, the sink was clogged, the shower was leaking. You can feel your room shake from the subway and because they had placed us in the basement room, we could hear the service room all night. They said this room was an upgrade, there was literally no room to move in the room. No robes, only slippers. The receptionist did not even ask how our stay was before we checked out. Would not recommend. I can’t believe this hotel made it on the the cntraveller list of places to stay in London.

Great hotel - one of our go to’s when. In London . Good price as well and staff very kindly upgraded us. A slight change that’s a negative is that the hotel room bar/fridge is no longer part of the room - shame as it was something special that made a difference . Otherwise great hotel.

We arrived at the hotel and we got shouted at by the person at the desk’s that we were too early to check in. We pleaded to leave our luggage as we have been travelling other countries. We were told in a passive aggressive way that there was no room to leave any luggage etc. After a while , there was a humanity in this person and let us leave the luggage in the hallway somewhere. We didn’t get back to the hotel until 8pm which then another person was at the desk. After so much negotiation we got into the room. We couldn’t sleep until 4AM because the next door occupancy was just talking and talking loudly. We didn’t feel comfortable and safe in the room. I didn’t have much sleep, it was a terrible experience and choice of the place.

It is what you pay for. Very conveniently located spot in London for a short trip. If you are looking to stay for more than 2 nights I would recommend a different hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. And again for the price wasn’t bad at all.
