"Really surprised"
The only thing I can say bad about the place is the wifi isn't the greatest, I was on the 11th floor and it would come and go, other then that for the price of the hotel we were all surprised by it, we figured it would not look like the pics we seen but it did. Also if you stay for a few days let me give u a tip, when you walk out of the hotel you go left to down town to all the attractions and to the falls, we learned on our last day if you go right the food is much cheaper that way, I would stay in this hotel again

"Loft "apartment-style" room in downtown Buffalo"
Building underwent changeover several years ago from apartments to overnight room rental. This said, the charm of an apartment space still exists (i.e. large space, estimated at least 1000 sq.ft.). We had one of the many two bedroom rooms, which are separate bedrooms. The sofa in L.R. pulls out for a third sleeping space, so this would be ideal for a small family or group of close friends to stay the night (or weekend) in downtown Buffalo. The space had amenities such as: Adequately stocked kitchen with glassware, silverware, new matching pots/pans with lids, dishwasher, garbage disposal, full-size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and island counter. Large coat closet when you walk in included full-size ironing board with newer iron. Each bedroom had it's own large closet. Queen size beds. Large tiled bathroom with tub/shower combo, sliding glass door. Nice fixtures. Some grout needs renewal. Overall, bathroom was clean, but not spotless. Nice living room area with beautiful arched windows. Unfortunately, the view is not of the harbor side, but of a building across the street. Gas fireplace could not be made to work, perhaps the piezo striker needs replaced. Adequate amount of nice furniture of contemporary style, L.R. space would handle additional seating without trouble. Hardwood floors, scraped type with texture. Lighting was adequate, but on dimmer side due to fluorescent-type economy bulbs. Staff were friendly. Restaurant is close by.

"Pretty good location but..."
The location of the hotel was pretty good! Great walking distance to Clifton Hill and surrounded by many affordable restaurants and gift shops. But the check in was super slow even though we were the first ones and only ones there at the time checking in, they had a hard time finding my reservation. The room that I got was pretty bad. The room itself was super nice. Very modern looking and spacious, and wifi was working well. But the tub didn't drain very well. It was on the first floor across the HR office and the very entrance to the rooms of first floor and other amenities of the hotel so as you can imagine it was loud at night. It was difficult to sleep because you could hear people talking, laughing and running around either inside the hotel room outside the door and outside of the hotel by the window. I would suggest to always get a room in the upper levels! Probably the best way to avoid the noise. That was really my only issue.

Amazing breakfast selection. However, our suite was located in the first floor and you can hear the people above you walking around very loudly. Would stay again. Great size rooms, would just request higher floor.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Port Colborne hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
