Worst IHG Hotel Experience Ever
I arrived around 10PM after a 7-hour drive, parked in the hotel lot (which had no signs saying I needed to check in first), and went to dinner nearby. When I returned to check in, the front doors were locked, and two front desk agents (an Asian and a Black male) ignored me for several minutes. No greeting, no assistance—just cold stares.
Once inside, they immediately demanded I move my car to a remote lot 0.5 miles away or they wouldn’t check me in. I explained I had just had alcohol and was uncomfortable driving again. They showed zero understanding or flexibility.
After being forced to move the car, I couldn’t even exit the lot without paying $15—despite being ready to pay the hotel’s $45 overnight rate. I had to call the front desk twice to be let out, and only after raising my voice did they assist.
Unfriendly, unprofessional, and completely lacking hospitality—especially shocking for a $450/night hotel. This experience was worse than a highway motel. I expect a formal response from IHG. Reservation under Anton Kashirin, confirmation #83354249.
