Good location new the freeway exit. Free breakfast is also included in the rate. Price is a bit higher (maybe depending on the season) compared with downtown like Boston or Burlington.

"Convenient hotel just outside of town"
This motel was clean, easy to find, convenient to town, with friendly staff and large rooms. It's nothing fancy but it was clean, quiet, comfortable and enjoyable. The view out the back of the room was lovely. The gardens were nice and we could hear the river behind the motel. I would definitely go back.

"Country Inn with extreme ambiance!"
This is the second time we have stayed at the Willoughvale Inn and cabins. It is truly heaven on earth! Last year we stayed in the Inn, and the lovely Ryan made sure our dog (Maddie) and I were so well cared for....making me a special breakfast, looking after Maddie while I went into Newport for a Christmas party... This year we stayed in the Birtches Cabin right on the lake ......It was so beautiful, waking up to the sun rise over the lake with the mountains as a back drop... Our cabin had a jacuzzi tub for two! We so enjoyed the experience, and slept like babies as a result. The Inn keeper, Skip, as well as the staff Diane and Andrea made our stay just perfect. Thank you to the wonderful folk at Willoughvale Inn and Cabins for a perfect experience. Looking forward to our return visit next Christmas Season. Catherine and Mark Kelly

"Hotel Jay"
The hotel was excellent. We had a room with a full kitchen which was convenient for ski on ski off as we could come back To the room for lunch. The resort is extremely family friendly with so much to do (pump house, arcade, ice haus, spa, restaurants) and all of it connected by tunnels!

"Makes you feel At Home!"
This was our first stay ever at a B & B so I don't have any prior experience to compare it to with only ever staying at hotels in the past. That being said it took a little getting to. Donna and Rod are very friendly. Their dog is also very friendly too. They have a beautiful place with a relaxing swing out back overlooking the mountains. They made us awesome breakfasts for our stay. Each bedroom has its own bathroom but they are very small (just FYI), I understand that you have to work with what you have when dealing with a home that was built in the 1890's. They were both helpful on information on where to visit while we were there. Ask them where to go for best place to maybe see a moose while you are there. Overall a nice place to visit.

Some musty/smokey odor on entering the room, but not strong. Very comfortable, clean bed! Towels a bit greying/off color...were suppose to be white. Price was right

"Great out of the way location, quiet, restful. "
I arrived on a rainy night and with a little bit of help by calling the B&B I was able to find it. The room was totally comfortable. The breakfast was home cooked (yummy!) and the owners are delightful people. It was a joy staying there and would return in a heartbeat!!!

"Very clean lodging 30 minutes from Jay Peak."
The new section as very nice and clean. Continental breakfast was light but workable. The room could have used a small fridge but did have a Keurig and coffee pods. The pool/hot tub room looked nice but the hot tub was kind of cold. I would definitely stay there again on a ski trip to Jay. The ride to the mountain was not bad at all. The savings compared to lodging at Jay was exponential.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Northeastern Vermont, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Northeastern Vermont hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
