"Nice condo , walking distance to main hotel"
The condo was well equipped & we did enjoy it but we thought it was part of Omni Bretton Woods not a separate identity, the web site is very confusing. Our only bad experience was upon arrival I went to the main arrival area at the front of Bretton Woods & to inquire if this was the check in place for the Bretton Woods Cottages & door man who looked like he was in charge of the valet staff told me he didn't know what I was talking about. I found out shortly by going to the only other complex in the huge metropolis of Crawford Notch that the cottages are indeed connected to Bretton Woods Hotel. The doorman I encountered should be given lessons in 1. customer attitude, 2. the amenities of the hotel including the cottages and thirdly that talking down to people should not be tolerated. I will add that commendations should be extended to your bar staff at the lounge & especially the shuttle drivers, Fred was great, who made up for the manager of the valet services.

"Convenient, nice views"
Good place, but you have a little "step child" field to it as they shuttle you to and from the gigantic resort across the street

Omni Mount Washington Resort

"Marvellous but pricey"
The Omni Mt Washington is an iconic building, and lives up to that in atmosphere. There are three main restaurants within the complex - one (The Bretton Arms) gave us one of the best dinners we have had anywhere. We were there over Columbus Day weekend, which meant advance booking of the restaurants was certainly required - but we got the feeling that that would be the case most of the time. We had opted for a Deluxe King Bed room with a Mountain View - and the view is SPECTACULAR. Even on the cloudy days it was great, but when we woke on the final morning to find the mountains clear and we could watch them gradually take shape and colour as the sun rose, that was worth the extra! However... There were aspects of the hotel we were less impressed by. To our surprise the room didn't have a mini-bar or fridge (which we had been expecting to be able to keep lunch ingredients in), nor did it have tea/coffee making facilities. One night the maid clearly hadn't made the bed properly, as the bottom sheet was rucked up at the end of the bed under the main covers. And wherever you went things seemed to be designed to keep adding to the cost - $6 for a bottle of water in your room (but no fridge to keep it cool in), $25 plus tax per person for breakfast ($19 for the continental breakfast - but on 2 out of 3 mornings we had to get the bill corrected to account for this), etc. And to be honest, the breakfast buffet was less good than other Omni's I've stayed in.

"Great views and lots to do"
Good facilities. We arrived on a hot August weekend and the Outdoor pool was lovely. My son enjoyed the ziplining. Just two complaints, can they please keep the indoor pool warmer! Its always freezing. Also , make the Arcade games free.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
