Very good hotel. Room overlooked the interior and was therefore a little dark, with limited lighting, but otherwise very good facilities. Simple things right - like a room safe at eye level, nespresso coffee machine, good shower over a good sized bath, comfortable bed. Very happy with our 4 nights here. Great location.

We picked one of the most exquisite stays in Montpellier. A hotel built in the former mansion of botanist Pierre Richer de Belleval. it’s an experience built inside a former private mansion with Michelin-level dining and art woven into every room. So the plan here was not to rush… but to savor- Our experience was elegant, sensory, and deliciously indulgent. We were in the best possible location—everything radiates from here. Place de la Canourgue - One of the most romantic squares in the city, right outside our hotel. Inside the hotel : Le Jardin des Sens is the Michelin-starred gastronomic experience no one should miss! Expect Artistic plating, Deep Mediterranean flavors and Slow, intentional dining with delicious wine pairing. Bar L’Élytre is the hotel’s dramatic, jewel-box salon bar: part historic mansion, part cabinet of curiosities, part theatrical Parisian-style cocktail lounge. La Canourgue is an elegant, high-design French brasserie inside the historic courtyard. It sits beneath a glass roof surrounded by soaring Palms, original architectural details: ornate moldings, cornices, crystal chandeliers, high ceilings, and the warm patina of the old town. It was not a generic five-star room. It had soul. Overall It felt like we were staying inside a living piece of history and French art.

Gorgeous property - stunning! Blend of old and new. Could do better with service in the bistro. Was an effort to get attention. Beautiful grounds, lovely architecture. Convenient for Montpelier.

Arrived at the car park and no one would answer the door. Had to walk up to reception only for them to say “oh yeah the phone was off” with no apology. The room is your most standard average hotel, pillows are less comfortable than lying on a folded piece of A4 and can’t say much for the bed itself. Hotel has a pool yes but the area around it is tiny. There was about 10 people there when we arrived and not much space, especially considering it is barely shaded from the sun at all. You can tell this property is in need of a refresh generally. Peeling paint, balconies covered in bird droppings and cobwebs, the AC may as well have been off for all it did to clean the room. Overall as enjoyable as a Novotel can be, if your idea of enjoyable is just a solid 3/10.

Excellente emplacement près du métro. Et la climatisation fonctionnait bien en pleine canicule.! le petit déjeuner est fabuleux à cet endroit

Everything was clean almost new and modern. Staff were good plenty of parking easy to airport with offer of a shuttle. Breakfast was buffet but selection was basic and scarce on staff to assist but as it was only a stop over stay out was adequate.
