Lovely courtyard and peaceful rooms await in this small hotel just a short walk from the shops, cafes, monuments and river walk of Bordeaux. Well designed renovation of classic building and full breakfast. Highly recommended.

"A great place to stay"
This hotel is the perfect place to stay while waiting for an early morning flight. Less than 2 km from the departures gate, the hotel offers clean rooms, abundant hot water in the shower and a comfortable bed in quiet surroundings despite its proximity to the airport.

4 Cours du Médoc, Bordeaux - Map
This hotel is a business school. The staff are students and teachers; the service is excellent. We stayed for 2 days and were waited on "hand and foot" by courteous, fun and happy staff. The restaurant is also excellent; the veal chop was phenomenal. Rooms were nice and clean. If you like service at an affordable price this is the place to be.

"Quiet, Inexpensive Hotel Close to Airport"
This hotel is literally within walking distance to the airport yet with the window closed,we did not even notice jet noise. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable, all that we required for an overnight stay. Our rate on a Friday night was amazingly inexpensive although breakfast was not included. The only problem we had was trying to find a restaurant open for dinner before 19:00, and some of them were not open at all on the weekend. I would not consider this a "destination" hotel, but quite sufficient for airport access.

"Good budget apartment-hotel in Bordeaux"
This was a good choice for me, easily reachable by tram (one change of line required) from Gare St Jean, plus a 10 minute walk from Chartrons tram stop (B line tram). Comfy living room, upstairs loft bedroom (extremely firm mattress however - the only drawback), kitchenette well equipped, decent bathroom, & good air-conditioning. My room at the furthest end of the 3rd floor hallway was very quiet at night too. Buffet breakfast was €7 extra, basic continental style offerings. Reception staff helpful, let me check in early once room available, & free wifi worked well in room as well as lobby.

"Beautiful new hotel"
The property is impecable. The only drawback is the size of the rooms. They are really small. Space between bottom of bed and wall hardly 2 feet. Bathroom really tiny.

"Everything it says on the tin!!"
We booked a hotel close to the airport with good links to the city. Quality is about 15 minutes drive from the airport and is well situated to both Merignac itself and routes to the centre of Bordeaux. We did not find overflights of aircraft to be a noise problem at all and slept soundly the 7 nights we were there. The hotel is well furnished and modern. Everything worked that you would expect to work - lifts, toilets, telephone, shower, cooker, kettle etc. We booked a room with kitchen facilities so that we could have our own breakfast and this worked out fine. The service from the staff was very good and we felt cared for and welcomed. There is a spa there that we didn't try but we did try the gym(fairly basic but open almost all hours) and the pool(which was also fine). We ate at the in-house restaurant, the Iguana which was too cordon bleu for our tastes but the food was good(the avocado souffle, by the way, is to die for!!).We ate in the breakfast lounge a number of times and it was also of a good standard. The rate we thought was a little high for what you got. That would be our only gripe.Otherwise the hotel lived up to our expectations.

Bordeaux is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bordeaux, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Bordeaux hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
