No parking at the property. We checked in after 3 pm and then was expected to check out at 10am and as a result had 19hrs with the apartment. Not enough time and left feeling short changed And the clean team wanted us out at 10am on the . Un happy😳

Lovely apartment. Have now stayed in Edinburgh and St Andrews apartments. Kitchenette light on utensils/cloths but overall a lovely quality property.

Amazing student accommodation, but a little basic and a bit out of town for tourist visitors.

The Abbey Residence has a rooming house feel. We had a spacious room with large but dated ensuite. The walls could use a lick of paint, but there were no real issues with the room. Wifi was good and our room had a good sized Roku based smart TV with lots of streaming options. Parking in central Edinburgh is hard so leave your car at the Abbey Residence and catch the bus into town from the bus stop just across the road. It’s no high end hotel, but our room was clean and comfortable with good wardrobe and desk space. The staff were friendly and helpful. A local supermarket was just across the road if you need any ancillary items. There’s some traffic noise from the adjacent streets, but not enough to stop us from getting a good night’s sleep on the large soft bed. Overall a much more pleasant experience than you’d expect for the price point. Highly recommended for those wanting good value.

Needs a slight upgrade and a good clean there were cobwebs in our room the chairs at breakfast had cobwebs on the leg spindles public toilets to bar area not the best the food at breakfast and evening meal were very pleasant the gardens were well kept and a pleasure to sit in .
