"Lovely B&B close to the marina"
This is a really lovely B&B really close to the marina, yet quiet. The rooms were spotless and decorated elegantly. We stayed for one night on our wedding anniversary and it felt warm and cosy. The owners were really nice and the breakfast served in the morning was delicious. Definitely 5 stars!

"Lovely place to stay on the English Riviera. best "
we loved our 3 night stay here from Thu-Sat. the owners Kev & Julie were so friendly, welcoming and informative about things to do for us South Devon virgins (we never had nowhere near enough time to do half of the things we liked the look of, we were still pooped at the end of each day) I will give you a few notes which I shall start at the beginning Easy to find with sat-nav Parking on the property was easily accessible, Kevin arranged for a space for an early start Saturday so we could get out for a park run and be back for breakfast which ended up being a superb, and appreciated, sausage sandwich to go as there was a busy hectic day ahead of us The rooms, well complete hotel, are beautifully decorated and extremely spacious & comfortable breakfast was amazing (I'm a big fan of Kev's large sausage ;-) there was everything on offer you could really want the hotel is a short 15 minute walk from the town and harbour, maybe a little steep on the way back but its nice to walk off the beer and food. if not there are always plenty of taxis available. all in all we would really recommend here and will definitely be returning for another visit and slice of sausage

Spotlessly clean, very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble and offered good suggestions of where to go things to see. Hotel guide provided excellent information. Lovely setting in leafy road just off the town centre.

"A Nice B and B and convenient for Dartmouth"
We have started to stay at this location regularly we were a bit disappointed by the evening meals which were only adequate on the first night and did not exist on the second due to a lack of a chef. Also after staying in the spacious room 5 the subsequent rooms were very small.

"Great hotel for business"
I usually stay in a larger hotel in Torquay but wanted to have a change this time. I was not disappointed, as the owners of the Abbeyfield Guesthouse could not do more to make my stay wonderful. My room was great; I had internet access and a delicious breakfast. I will be coming back on my next stay in Torquay, where my company's main UK production plant is located.

"Good value hotel close to the beach"
Good value for money and we were at the beach in 5 minutes. The decor of the hotel is a bit dated but the room was comfortable and clean. Parking is limited at the hotel and in the road, but there is a cheap public car park nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we paid extra for breakfast and were glad we did as it was excellent.

"Lovely swimming pool and gardens"
We had a pleasant stay. The basic room was basic but we didn't spend much time in the room. It was clean. Bathroom dated but we really enjoyed the gardens and the swimming pool. Very quiet and relaxing. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating as were the other staff. A nice area and close to the beach.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Dittisham hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
