"Central location"
Great hotel close to Barbican and shops. Lovely helpful staff. Parking close by a bit tight on occasion and as it's on a main road expect some traffic noise. This being said it's a lovely hotel & would use again.

"Nice for Plymouth seafront"
We chose this hotel as an option to the chains. Nice place, clean, tidy and well decorated. Has a few quirks that go with old buildings. Staff good and friendly. A bit of personality which you don't get with the chains. Bar area nice. Breakfast good. Will use again if needed. Managed to park, free, at the back of the hotel.

"Close to central attractions, quiet street"
My husband and I stayed for one night when we visited Plymouth for the weekend in March. We received an e-mail from the hostess asking when we needed to check in, and were greeted by Carla on arrival who was friendly and helpful. The room was a ground floor double room with small ensuite. The bed was comfortable and there was a good breakfast, with plenty of choice and very nicely poached eggs. There was a good information pack in the room and the free wi-fi was reliable and worked well. Personally, I am not keen on ground floor rooms - so we would have preferred a room on one of the other floors. Our room was a bit dark because it was at the back of the house, and looked out onto the conservatory. However, we did book a bit late, so there was less availability. When we arrived the room was set up for one person, however, Carla quickly responded and added a towel and tea-making facilities for two.

"Ok"
It was very clean. The staff was very polite. The bed was very hard, my back didn't like it at all but I didn't go there to sleep. There was a TV just a little bigger then my iphone, but worked perfectly, as well as the wifi the cattle the shower... with a little attention to details it could become a 4 and more. Overall a great value for money and perfect for my purpose.

"Close to The Hoe , great location "
Located in easy walking distance to The Hoe, city centre and parks. Room very comfortable, twin room with two doubles, bed comfy, which coming from a very fussy arthritis sufferer must be comfy. Staff friendly and food nice. Breakfast tasty, although crammed into penthouse, but this temporary whilst being refurbished. Swimming pool nice, could have been slightly warmer. Overall a great stay and would return.

"A night at Kitley "
Had personal reasons to choose this hotel, set in a luscious Estate we had high hopes. However the drive to the actual house needs an army truck to get down & in any way, was representative of the whole stay... tons of potential let down by the smallest of detail. Taking into account that the hotel is in the amazing house itself and that upkeep of such is no mean feat. The house, the reception ( with a real fire), the dining room (with a real fire) , the magnificant stairway and the room itself were all lovely and made the room just about value for money. But it was the little things that just took away the sparkle and edge to such a degree that it went from the potential for 5 star ratings from us to a 3 star. 1. The drive is almost un drive-able, and I was glad we had a high 4x4 car. Forget getting anything low down it.. a real minus for a first impression. 2. At least 3 cigarette butts directly outside the entrance to the house. ( Nothing against smoking and I know you can't control your guests, but it doesn't set a good 2nd impression after the drive...) 3. The bath plug in our room was very rusty and needs replacing. Keeping old features in good repair is hard but changing a bath is an option. 4. The room was good but no frills. 4. The dining room has a great view but the windows in the dinning room were dirty on the inside. 5. Staff were friendly, but not overly engaged and felt like you couldn't ask much more than the a basic level. 6. Breakfast is over overpriced.

Plymouth is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Plymouth, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Plymouth hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
