I really liked the Avanti - modern, clean hotel with very friendly staff and good resort facilities. Well located for I Drive and Universal Studios. BUT as this is more of a "motel" set up, my room was very noisy as the door to the room is outward facing (unlike a hotel). If you have a room facing the pool area you get the noise from families and people using the pool as well as the music playing - this goes on until 11pm. Other rooms face the motorways and main roads - traffic noise all day and night. And whilst some would argue you are out all day at the parks, when you get back to your room exhausted, you don't sleep well. A shame really as everything else was fine. I wouldn't stay again purely for this reason.

The stay was good however the beds very creaky and in need of updating (1 bed had a hole in the middle), the pillows were lumpy, cups did not replaced. On checkout day, even though it was 1200 checkout, we were asked before 0900 by the room attendant what time we would be leaving and then also had several knocks on the room door to also ask. The location was very good opposite the Orlando Eye and serveral good restaurants within walking distance.

A comfortable clean reasonably priced hotel very close to and convenient to the main entrance to Disney World. Hotel has two separate large pools, a very reasonably priced breakfast buffet, a snack cafe serving pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, cold drinks, and ice cream. Tiki bars serving food and beverages in the swimming pool areas. A fitness gym and meeting areas. Plenty of easy parking. Hotel is located just off Irio Bronson Memorial Pkwy, near countless restaurants and shops of all types, and entertainment (a mini golf attraction is adjacent to the hotel property).
Only bad experience is that we may have encountered bed bugs in our room, but this can occur at any hotel from low cost to the most expensive. Orlando/Disney World, including hotels inside the Disney Park, are reported to be the number one area in the U.S. for bed bug infestations. So traveler beware!

We really did! the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I was a little worried because they will try to sell you timeshares. Our experience was much different than others. When approached about timeshares, we very politely told the young man we weren't interested. He was very charming with the promise of discount theme park tickets, a free lunch or breakfast, and benefits we should start enjoying right away. After stating again that we weren't interested, he told us to enjoy our stay.
Our room was a king suite, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were like clouds. I enjoyed soaking in the garden tub after a long day of walking. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need, except scissors. Scissors are necessary in any kitchen. The balcony was nice, secluded, with a small view of a field. The suite did smell strongly of alcohol, almost a whiskey odor? But it dissipated quickly after going in and out of the doors.
The pool was clean and smelled strongly of chlorine,( to me, this is a good thing) and I did not see any mold present. The hot tub is huge and it was as clean as the pool. We enjoyed watching the little lizards hopping around. The seem to like the pool area.
The hotel provides activities for children, this is nice for families.
Check out was just as easy and they have a computer to use in the lobby to print boarding passes.

Downtown Disney ® area is Disney for the adult set. Here, restaurant options range from fast-food fare to white-linen service. Entertainment choices include dancing, live music, and a multiplex cinema. Shops offer children's toys, as well as Harley-Davidson gear and hand-rolled cigars. Downtown Disney ® area's other appeal is its proximity to both non-Disney and Disney-owned golf courses.
