While this hotel is very pricey, it is well worth it. I booked 2 rooms for our family. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Lots of light and well appointed supplies were in each room. The only thing missing was an outlet in the bathroom for my hair appliance. So I had to curl my hair while sitting at the desk, which was fine.
Central location with the free boat across the street to the main downtown area. The staff were super nice and accomodating. The front receptionists were all very pleasant, well dressed and super professional. Their English was great. The bell men and security people in the lobby were very attentive and helpful. We ate in the Chinese restaurant and the general restaurant on the 2nd floor. All of the waiters were amazing and very friendly.Smiling all the time. Food excellent.
We found this a pleasant surprise for Switerland. Our daughter goes to school in a nearby town, so we come often to Switzerland to visit. Since waiters and staff don't work for tips, it is very rare to get good service in Switzerland. We ate at 2 Michelin restaurants in Switzerland, and they provide amazing service, but other than that, waiters and waitresses and not normally very attentive. But this hotel and their staff provided the best service in Switzerland.

I booked this hotel for a midweek holiday with friends.
We arrived before the alloted Check-in time and were advised pleasantly by staff the room was not yet ready, however we can complete our check in, store our luggage at the hotel and come back later. Alternatively we could use the hotel facilities if we liked.
We were provided with free public transport passes - which work on the trains, trams, busses, and river boats (perfect way to cross the river and take in a few of the sights).
The hotel itself is located in a red light district area, so you may find it intimidating if you are returning late at night and are alone. Hotel is 10 min walk to the lake, Geneva station (most bus/tram and train routes alight here). We were out as a group and it wasn't too bad.
Spa facilities were good, nice to get some quiet time and wind down.

The mountainside location offered great views of the Alps, which was awesome. The food was good at both breakfast & dinner. The staff was very nice, as well. The 2-level room was awkward &
potentially dangerous. We didn't care for that. Also, they lock the kitchenette unless you pay an upgraded price. That's absurd! It should be available for guests to use. Almost all hotels allow use of kitchenettes at no additional cost.

Had a great stay with our son recently. We enjoyed the excellent location, amenities and standard of the hotel. However finding parking for my car was a bit of an issue. Also the room did not have tea and coffee making facilities until requested.

When I first walked into the hotel, I must admit I was a little bit skeptical about the hotel. Lots of pink and mustard with Belle Epoc era decor. I found it quite charming overall as the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming regardless of what language you spoke (including broken French). The room was well sized for a European hotel and exceptionally clean. This is not a new hotel - so don't stay here thinking the decor, carpet, etc are all sleek and shiny. The floor the rooms were on reminded me a little of the decor in the Shining - beautiful long hallways with a carpet color that is a few decades old with really beautiful period appropriate furniture and crown moulding. My one complaint is that while I appreciate keeping true to the era, this hotel probably could use a little refresher carpet wise (definitely kept up paint/etc already) as it was starting to show the wear from years of travelers. All that being said - this is definitely and incredibly convenient hotel - literally on the boardwalk so easy to walk everywhere and close to where the boat docks from Lausanne and walking distance to the Gare. I'd happily stay here again - the staff were exceptional.
