"Easiest accommodation to ski back to."
Second time we have stayed here. You really get what you pay for- we were 10 friends in 2 six bed apartments who don't mind a bit of a squeeze. If you want some space then maximum of 4 in the 6 bed apartment. The double bed, the bunks and the sofa beds are all comfortable. At the end of 4 hard days skiing, none of us had any difficulty getting to sleep! It includes towels and clean linen, basic cleaning equipment and 1 toilet roll (so you need more!) They are basic but again for the price, what can you expect. They are the highest accommodation of the resort so very easy to ski/board back to at the end of the day, drop your kit off and a 5 minute walk to the pubs. You have to be fit for the walk but the escalators make the walk OK. The reception tends to be closed a lot- we had to phone to get the code to get our key. When reception is open the staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. We love the skiing in Avoriaz - it is high so gets some great snow until the start of April. Great resort for families too. We will definitely stay here when we go back.

"Beautiful ski-in/out hotel with a touch of luxury."
We loved the Hotel des Dromonts. From its 60's quirky ambience brought up to date , via its position just off the piste to fine dining without the fuss, this was a fab experience. The greeting and check in on arrival was friendly and efficient, and we were delighted with our room. It was a larger one , we did spend more time in it than anticipated due to a slippage on the snow on the first day. We were offered a half board upgrade and after seeing prices in local restaurants, we realised it was a bargain for three courses.Of the two restaurants we chose the "Enfants Terrible" which offered unfussy candlelit formality. Each day there was a brief menu of the day, with another choice for each course off the a'la carte at no extra cost, or a supplement of a few euros upwards per course to explore the menu further, Items such as rack of lamb, scallops and mushrooms in shells, duck breasts, red mullet, sea bass were served in an elegant and friendly manner by the young staff. The cost of a glass of house wine was reasonable, and there was a wine list to explore. Breakfasts were excellent with a full range as expected. The hotel public areas are furnished with 60's chairs, hide sofas and various other items of the period. Its a delight for anyone interested in style. Real log fires and cosy corners everywhere. We used the spa once. Steam room, sauna ( indoors and outdoors) and an outdoor hot tub while the snow fell were all fine.

"Nice hotel (Alhena), great location"
The hotel room (3-5 person) was clean and tidy with a kitchenette that included a dishwasher, hob and microwave. There is a fold out double sofa bed in the main lounge area as well as 3 beds (2 singles and a full size bunk) in the main bedroom.

"Small but ideally placed"
We stayed in the Malinka residence. The reception is staffed 24/7 over at Saskia which is about 10m from the Malinka. Room 407 is for 4 people. 2 bunk beds and a double sofa bed. You could fit a fifth person on the other single sofa if you weren't bothered about privacy. Saying that, there were only two of us staying there and along with all our snowboard gear, 2 board bags and a suitcase it was comfortable. It would have been very cramped if the room Was at max capacity. If you aren't bothered about personal space though and just want to snowboard then it's ideal and will make your stay super cheap. There is some well thought out storage with most nooks and crannies being some form Of storage which we utilised well. The place was very clean and we were pleasantly surprised that the room was far better than how any of the pictures portrayed it. The kitchen was well equipped with a hob and dishwasher, fridge, and the microwave doubled up as the oven. we had a balcony view of the kids freestyle park so good if you want to keep an eye on your little ones, plus it offered great views down to Morzine and across the valley. There is a board/ski/boot room that has access on to a blue run down to Procolou lift and the mini stash. It is just 50m from a Sherpa supermarket which is well stocked. Here are a couple of restaurants and bars also within 50m and its a pleasant 5-10 minute, if that, to the centre where the majority of bars, restaurants and shops are. We would stay here again

"The most lovely, welcoming staff you could imagine"
Wow, where to start! It was a real drag to get on a plane and head home after the most incredible 9 days spent at Inferno. The location seems daunting at first since it is half-way up the Col de Nyon, but the walk is really nice (there's an off-road way into town) and the guys at Inferno are often driving down if you've missed the last ski-lift. The bedroom and bathroom was immaculate when we got there, and you can tell that the team put a lot of hard work into renovating the chalet and keeping it clean & tidy. The breakfast is delicious, with warm croissants or chocolatines every morning! Eliza (the manager) made sure my gluten-intolerant partner was well catered for in the mornings, which I'm sure most chalets wouldn't go out of their way to do. The meals in the evening were fantastic and we were made to feel part of the family. I can't recommend enough this fantastic stay among a super-friendly bunch of people. Top marks!

"Fabulous location, brilliant value 2 star hotel."
We were very pleased with the hotel. We came expecting simple 2 star B&B and ended up delighted with a room bigger than many we have stayed in when skiing. Great wardrobe space, comfy beds, hot and plentiful water from a great shower, friendly, helpful staff but most of all was the tremendous location. 2mins walk to main lift or to the bus for lift to Avoriaz. 5 mins to main bars, restaurants and ski shops too! Couldn't be better. We could ski back to the door and there was lots of room for skis and boots. We upgraded to half board for a great value 3 course meal which was filling and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Kind of isolated, kind of hard to get to in the first place--but awesome once you're there. Great on site services, great staff, great rooms, right on top of the slopes.

Morzine is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Morzine, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Morzine hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
