We were lucky to be booked into the corner room with two windows on two sides of the hotel which gave us a beautiful view of Pittsburgh.
Self parking across the street costs only $5 on weekends.
Hotel is very big and has a historic atmosphere in multiple stairs, hallways, and eating areas.

Found beds very uncomfortable. The TV kept shutting down and in the middle of a program it would go to a half black screen and half multi colored. Very frustrating but wasn't worth the hassel of calling the front desk.

"Hotel convenient to The University of Pittsburgh"
This hotel is in a great location. They restaurant is good, though you can do quite a bit better within a mile radius. The room did not have a comfortable chair. The bathroom door did not stay open and the bathroom had the only well lit mirror in the room. The mirror fogged during a shower and did not clear for 10-15 minutes. This could be inconvenient if sharing a room. There were 2 queen beds in the room.
