The superior room was very small - we wondered what a standard room was like..... No air con in February so we had to keep windows open and let in the night racket from the street. One night a laundry van was parked at 1.30 am making a loud noise for about 45 minutes. Reception was friendly but a bus map would have been helpful. Breakfast was good but the chlorine smell from the pool area impinged.
I realised too late I should have requested a room at the back.
Not really 4-star standard.

Stayed here with my husband for two nights. Nice hotel and very close to the airport. Ideal for travellers. Staff very friendly and efficient. Rooms very nice and functional but could do with better coffee making facilities. Most good hotels now provide Nespresso machines. A few biscuits would have been nice also. Food and drink is very very expensive. Over 17 euros for two double espressos !! Also two Diet Cokes almost 12 euros ! My advice is stay at the hotel but go elsewhere to eat.

Nice & clean. Great location - near train station, shopping, food. Very convenient. They have an off-site fitness center, which is fine but not so convenient. On the whole, a nice option in an expensive city
While this hotel is very pricey, it is well worth it. I booked 2 rooms for our family. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Lots of light and well appointed supplies were in each room. The only thing missing was an outlet in the bathroom for my hair appliance. So I had to curl my hair while sitting at the desk, which was fine.
Central location with the free boat across the street to the main downtown area. The staff were super nice and accomodating. The front receptionists were all very pleasant, well dressed and super professional. Their English was great. The bell men and security people in the lobby were very attentive and helpful. We ate in the Chinese restaurant and the general restaurant on the 2nd floor. All of the waiters were amazing and very friendly.Smiling all the time. Food excellent.
We found this a pleasant surprise for Switerland. Our daughter goes to school in a nearby town, so we come often to Switzerland to visit. Since waiters and staff don't work for tips, it is very rare to get good service in Switzerland. We ate at 2 Michelin restaurants in Switzerland, and they provide amazing service, but other than that, waiters and waitresses and not normally very attentive. But this hotel and their staff provided the best service in Switzerland.

In general it was OK, the only part that I did not like was the pool and the fact that the fridge was not properly connected in the room. For the pool, there were no "changing rooms" available, so we needed to change directly in the room and then going in towels with shoes (because none of us had sandals) down to the pool. Did not like this experience at ALL. The rest was fine.

The chateau is lovely with plenty of old world charm together with smart luxury. Very comfortable bed, quiet room. fabulous bath and a lovely pool. The hotel really is in a small world of its own, especially when you arrive via an industrial estate, but there is lovely countryside around it, together with their own vineyards to create a feeling of peace and tranquility. The gourmet meal was absolutely delicious, and we can recommend the chateau's viognier wine. Very helpful staff managed to cope with my limited French very graciously, although several spoke excellent English. For us this was a wonderful stopover on our way north, and we can certainly recommend it.
