Dated, hallway carpets filthy, only double beds available, no queens. I was told it was a non-smoking room, but the room was so smoky we could hardly sleep. Tried putting towels at the bottom of the door to prevent the smoke from coming in bud did not help. Could not get out of there fast enough. Will not be back for $400+

Very quiet and private. Housekeeping were not the nicest. Many of them didn’t want to say good morning. However, the front desk staff were great! The gym, spa and hot tub were really good.

I checked in to my suite and they said it had to be a smoking room because there weren’t any others available. I went to the room and found the large picture hanging off the wall. I think old them about it and they said in the morning someone would come up and never did. There was Tabacco or something left on the floor near the end table that was cleaned so the room wasn’t cleaned properly. I had a bachelorette party in the afternoon at the H2O pool with a Cabana and it was never decorated even though it was confirmed in the morning for the backplate package. It was embarrassing and part of the party had to leave and the decorations weren’t even completed all the way: I’ve stayed here before but this was the worst experience I had with them.

GN Atlantic City

The Golden Nugget per se was great in all aspects. The only reason that my overall rating was 4 instead of 5 is because the walls between rooms are “thin”. We were placed next door to a family with children who were very very loud. Every word was audible and this went on until 12:30am and picked up again around 6. This impacted the pleasantness of our stay, but I understand that the GN can’t control this factor.
