"Very convenient to to North Entrance of NHMS.."
Arrived and room was ready as expected clean room, comfortable beds. The Landmark needs to update televisions as they are small and outdated. This would have allowed me to give the room comfort an excellent rating.

"Fantastic stay at the very quaint Nutmeg Inn."
Received a very warm welcome to the Nutmeg Inn by Lynne and Mark who took us on a fantastic tour of the Inn and told us the history of the building. The bedrooms are delightfully furnished with New England charm and are very clean. The breakfast menu was amazing with all home cooked delights and Lynne's granola was truly fantastic!! If ever we wanted refreshments coffee, tea or cold drinks including local beers these were on offer as part of our stay! When we arrived delightful jam shortbread slices were available with a refreshing cup of tea/coffee or a cold drink! The outside area was lovely too, a nice sized pool with a comfortable area to sit and enjoy the ambience of the surrounding woodland which envelopes the Inn. Mark and Lynne's knowledge of the local area was invaluable and extremely grateful which enabled us to try the best bits of New England on this our first visit.

"Nice view of lake "
This motel was fine for a short stay. When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation which was stressful. After about 10 minutes they gave up and luckily had a room to give us. They said they don't work with Expedia any more because Expedia wasn't telling them who was coming or when. The room was OK but the king size bed really was too big in the small space. You had to walk sideways to get to the bathroom due to lack of space and the bathroom door opened out and hit the side of the bed. There was a mini fridge and microwave that worked well as did the TV. When we went for breakfast the next morning we had to wait 10 minutes (they said it began at 7 but when we got there at 7:15 the staff was just putting coffee on). The coffee was still perking when we had to leave to make it to our next destination. The staff didn't want to give me a receipt for the stay but I insisted and had to wait for that. It would have been a much better stay if the staff could do their jobs better.

"A bit pricey for the amenities."
The room was ok. Bed was comfortable. It seemed very clean. The staff was friendly. The shower and sink were slightly damaged(cracks and chips). I liked my fish dinner. My wife's steak tips were chewy. Overall, it was a nice place. I thought the price was a little high, especially for off-season.

"Our recent stay"
Overrall, it was a good hotel for myself and my 2 boys. The staff were nice and the rooms were comfortable. The only improvement area I think would be the hotel is somewhat old - carpets, etc., and the pool definitely needs an overhaul as it is chipping and taped in many spots. I also spent both of my days using the skimmer to get the stuff floating in the pool. This could have been kept up with more regularly. My boys didn't seem to mind at all though and enjoyed the pool very much.

Moultonborough is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Moultonborough, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Moultonborough hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
