My experience at Clayton Hotel was abysmal- it started with check in, we were given room 319 and as we entered the room was not ready. Came downstairs and told the staff the room is a mess they said they didnt check it and gave us a new room 219. We entered 219 - the TV control was not working on 1 TV- we thought doesnt matter atleast there is 2 tv's. Then there was no coffee machine - the staff were informed they said they dont have another coffee machine to give us. We were so disappointed with their attitude as they did not even apologise. We carried on and cleaned the room as it was not as bad as 319 but still the mirror etc had fingerprint marks. The next day we went out at 11am and put on the 'refresh my room tag' on the door. We came back at 4pm and the room was not made. We had a concert to attend so we told the reception that the room was not cleaned - they apparently had a maintenance issue and said by the time we come back it would be sorted. It was not, at midnight when we entered we were shocked it wasn't sorted. They then said no house keeping is available and gave us 2 bed linen to put on ourself and gave us no new towels, toilet roll or even water. Our time was so shocking we left and spoke to manager on way out who then had apologised but we didnt not even get offered breakfast. I want a refund for our dreadful stay. I did not expect this and made a video of the whole situation.

The apartment was great - getting in the property was tricky at first as code didn't work and property manager didn't respond but beyond that was good. the hallway and elevator was very dirty on arrival. the apartment was good though. nice size/quality

Excellent hotel in perfect location for what I wanted and top class breakfast too. Recommended.
