"Fantastic Service"
We stayed for our 10 year anniversary. The concierge was fantastic. I called ahead to have flowers in our room before we arrived. Everything was taken care of for me, and beyond expectation. When we arrived the staff was extremely pleasant and willing to do anything they could to make our stay as great as possible. Dinner reservations, transportation, room service, or anything else we needed was handled with the best hospitality. I will definitely return to a Fairmont Hotel.

"weekend staycation"
Wanted to get away without traveling far..so we picked a hotel in the City that was a good location with nice amenities. The room was tiny, but comfortable for two people. We used the pool and hot tub, but not as much as we wanted because the hot tub had hair and dirty foam all over the perimeter. Also, there was so much chlorine in the hot tub our eyes were burning as soon as we got near it. The bar was kind of lame and expensive. The hotel has a 'dog concierge' which was neat; a beautiful, friendly husky. Valet parking was our only option and it was $30 a night which was expensive for this area. It was also $20+ a night for a microwave and/or mini fridge which was a little ridiculous. The front desk girls could not answer any of our questions.

Second stay at the Monaco. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. A couple minute delay at the front desk resulted in complimentary cocktails from the bar. The rooms are trendy and comfortable. I would definitely stay again!

"Good Location, Friendly Staff, Clean"
We had a nice stay overall. Only complaint is the in house parking situation. We checked in and were told we could pull around the back of the building and have our car parked. It literally took an hour to turn the corner and get around the building because the parking attendants could not keep up with all of the cars coming in, therefore backing up the traffic. After a half our of waiting I had to finally get out of the car in the line of waiting traffic with my bag and walk to our room to get ready because we had dinner reservations while my husband waited another half hour to park the car. They could have told us this prior to getting in a line of cars we could not get out of, and we would have parked somewhere else. The whole area in front of the lobby to check in was a mess, you block traffic, cars honking, etc. They should have an area blocked off somewhere, but it doesn't look like they can without disrupting normal traffic. That is my only complaint was the parking situation.

"A wonderful time"
It was my niece's birthday so my sister, her aunt, and I treated her to an overnight stay at the Springhill Suites on the North Shore in Pgh., PA. We had a great time. All the staff was so kind and the rooms were excellent. We talked about staying there in the future. The only thing that was a little off was that I was charged $20.00 on my Visa charge, for an incidental fee, for a lack of a better description. This "is in case something happens", as told by the staff. "if nothing happens, I would be refunded $20.00 in 3-5 days". Well nothing happened, and I expect to receive my refund. However, I was concerned that no one provided me with that information prior to the deductions. It was not a problem, but it would have been nice to be informed up front.
