"Fabulous!!!"
The Kimpton is a wonderful hotel in a great location in the centre of Pittsburgh. From the moment you are greeted at the valet to the final wave as you drive away, the staff throughout the hotel are highly attentive and friendly. The room was so comfortable we were sad to leave. The innovative design touches catch your eye at every turn. They host a wonderful happy hour every afternoon -- a great chance to catch a breath (and a glass or two of wine) before heading out for the evening. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone visiting this lovely city!

"Nice hotel with a lot of history. "
Used to be a federal reserve bank. You can see the vaults/safes still there. A bit pricey but worth it. The pool area was the old firing range for the security force. Free meals 2 times daily and good food.

"Too comfortable bed cleaning room"
The Bobby was somewhat dirty but they had a lot of workers going in and out when I got to the room it was clean bright and the bed was very comfortable which was one of the things I was looking for pillow-top beds of some sort

"Renovated Eclectic Stay"
Stop-over hotel for return flight from Pittsburgh. Staff were pleasant, but young and somewhat inexperienced - not great resources for info. Food from organic restaurant in hotel (ate late dinner and breakfast there) was good. Carpet in 4th floor hallway needed cleaned or sanitized; it smelled like "monkey butt". Room was spartan, but nice and clean and spacious.

"Well, OK."
The motel is mostly OK: quiet location, no hassles from staff. Did not get to try the breakfast that ended at 9 a.m. The walls are quite thin, so we got to listen to a crying child for a couple of hours plus his/her mother singing to it. But fortunately they all went to sleep before it was very late. Other guests were friendly, which was a surprise. (Usually hotel guests in the USA are like men in a US men's room: don't talk with each other and try not to even look at each other.) I can do without the Gideon Bible in the room. Much more importantly, hotels/motels within a 30-mile radius of downtown Pittsburgh are a cartel. I'm not allowed to mention the room rate here, but let's say as a general rule that within that radius, one always must pay at least $65 per night, plus tax, no matter how crappy the hotel is and/or how bad the location is. (Pittsburgh was seriously overdue for a hostel until AirBnB and Couchsurfing came along!) And this Super 8 is not the worst hotel and does not have the worst location within that geographical area. No wonder US hotel industry revenues hit an all-time high in 2015 and again in 2016.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Canonsburg hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
