Crown and Mitre Hotel
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and enough for a vegan to eat. The hotel was warm and comfortable. There was a very nice Geordie lady meeting and greeting at breakfast. Marmalade was in short supply.

Carlisle Station Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by BW
Staff were overall unhappy looking, and certainly not welcoming. I'm also disappointed that there was no food offer available. The bar no longer serves food and the restaurant appeared closed. On the plus side, the wifi is fast and reliable.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was excellent.Only thing to mention that was my fault was to explain that I was coming by bicycle, so mine host would have been expecting me to arive by bicycle. Host was excellent.
