ibis Carlisle – City Centre
Close to the train station, friendly and helpful staff, bar and restaurant (which serves pizzas if you arrive after the restaurant closes). Rooms are basic and a bit tired but clean and beds are comfortable. No aircon.

The Queens
The gentleman who served me in the restaurant was excellent and made sure I had everything I needed. The food was first class too. I would highly recommend the pie. It was delicious. I would certainly stay there again as it's very quiet but close to the motorway

Really nice place to stay. Lovely area for a walk etc too. Nice bar and restaurant. Also, very nice warm pool to swim in with a gym. Food was ok. I think it could be improved a little. But overall a nice place. Would visit again
