This hotel was pretty much as I expected for the price I paid. It is old and dated but perfectly OK for a short stay with everything I needed. The staff were all cheerful and very helpful. The chef made us some great scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Good price thats all compared to others. Basically you get what you pay for. In need of cleaning and poor staff levels. Only one in the hotel seen at check in and said if you want the bar etc. then see reception. Reception in morning sign said staff in the dining room. Dining area very bland and only one staff member. Food limited and very basic. Water pressure in shower poor. Pot hole at entrance to car park is very deep and dangerous. Good points: The bed, clean, comfortable and I slept very well. The heating was also on and the room was warm.

The hotel advert was extremely misleading, rooms were very unwelcoming, dirty white washed walls, black marks everywhere. Breakfast was cold the chefs whites looked like he'd washed the floor with them! Cups weren't changed or cleaned. We should of had a 4 night stay but only stayed for 2 refund refused with no explanation. Definitely wouldnt recommend. It was a hovel. Not surprising they moved the asylum seekers out they deserved better than this

We stayed for 2 nights, The city centre was a good 15 minute walk away or a few minutes by bus. This gave access to lots and lots of bars, restaurants and takeaway places. The hotel is very tired looking in places (the bath in our room in particular) but it worked. The staff on reception were very helpful . The breakfast was plentiful and good quality.

The hotel nedds a whole refurbishment soon as possible the bar area smelt of damp Smelt weed in the corridor outside the bedroom Didnt really see any staff The only person who spoke to us was the receptionist when we checked in Only 2 good thing about this hotel was Bed was comfortable Breakfast was nice Would i stay again NO
