Broeksterwoude Vacation Packages

I had stayed in a Social Hub in Madrid and found it to be an excellent alternative to main stream hotels. The one in Amsterdam was not the case. The location for this hotel is not very good. We were assigned a handicap accessible room without requiring nor requesting one. They did change our room but unfortunately the air conditioning in that room did not work. When I enquired at the desk I was told that none of the rooms had air conditioning because it was illegal in Europe to have AC. This is of course false. The rooms were climate controlled except our room was about 25-28 degrees even though the thermostat was set to 18. They said they would send someone but never did. We survived by opening the window and luckily the fall weather kept the room comfortable for sleeping. We did not spend any daytime hours in the room. Overall, for the money we paid, we could have had a much better hotel room, closer to the city centre and in a safer, more friendlier area. I do not recommend staying at this location.

Rooms are big and clean. The coffee at the lobby is great. Easy to get to town via the metro just a short 2 min walk.

Love love love this place. Whether you’re hosting a work retreat, need a break from the bustle, or on holiday like me, this Social Hub has something for everyone. Modern ambiance and vibes for days. The DJs on weekend nights have excellent taste in records The staff is stellar. Thank the interior decorator too. I will be coming back with friends.

This boutique Hotel was very nice and convenient to Central Station and all public transportation

Having stayed in several Leonardos in London and Edinburgh already, I was really disappointed by the staff at reception on our arrival. Usually Leonardo staff are so helpful, polite and pleasant, these were stand off-ish and unhelpful. After this interaction, everyone else we met was really lovely and pleasant though - the cleaning staff were very friendly and the other reception member we met were all great. On arrival our TV wasn’t working, reception staff didn’t apologise or even offer to assist so we worked it out ourselves and retuned the TV so it worked for us and the following guests. The room was okay and in the basement, size was good and the layout was fine. The shower ceiling height was difficult - my son is 5’10 and had to crouch to use the shower to get washed. A different receptionist who was working the day after we arrived explained that we could open the garden doors to the courtyard which was a nice touch and it was appreciated that he explained that to us. This hotel has a great location with good transport links nearby to get about. Perhaps we arrived at a bad time but if the other staff at the hotel hadn’t have been so lovely to counter act the unpleasant arrival, I would have complained to the manager.
