Value for money hotel. Fixtures and fittings are tired but the bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Great value cooked breakfast for £7. Road a bit noisy. We were able to leave our car behind the building for the day which was great. If stairs are an issue/heavy luggage pays to be aware you might have a few flights of steps to climb depending on your room! Staff very helpful and friendly.

Friendly, helpful team, good sized room, comfy bed, nice & clean. Good amenities. Spot on!!

Ok. Rooms need some love but I stay here regularly

We were a bit disappointed with this. I’d say the pictures on the site are very flattering. We arrived in the evening to lots of building and maintenance materials outside the front and in the entrance area. Not the best start. The member of staff who met us was pleasant and helpful. The room was only ok, clean enough but not great. It was just for one stopover for an early flight and the location for that purpose is good. I’ve tried to be very fair and even in this review, but this place is not for us we won’t be returning.

The room looked as if it was recently refurbished, the room was good but the bathroom still looked tired due to poor workmanship. The bathroom had minor cleaning issues too where surfaces didn’t appear to have been wiped down, with hairs left on the walls. No hairdryer in the room but this was quickly rectified. The grounds which the hotel is located is good. We stayed in the South hotel the night before and this was slightly better and half the price (prices were put up due to the cricket that we didn’t realise was on). Overall the hotel was good, just not a good as other Village Hotels.

This property is close to the airport, but they have no shuttle, merely a list of cab companies that you can call. We had to wait five minutes at the desk when checking in because no one was around. Then, we were handed our key without being even told our room number. When we asked about Wi-Fi, we were told our devices would "automatically connect". Big surprise, they didn't, but when we did connect our phones said they were connected to Wi-Fi, but that there was no internet connection. Makes Wi-Fi pretty useless. The rooms were okay, but nothing special. I kind of expect that at an airport hotel. However, I expect an airport hotel to have shuttles to and from the airport. The only shuttles this hotel runs are dependent on you paying them to leave your car in their carpark while you are traveling. Otherwise, you are on your own.
