Room spacious and bed was a bit hard. Otherwise I was happy with my stay. There is car park at the back. Good bus service into Durham bus station. Small shops nearby. Did have a slight problem when I arrived after 3pm as it was closed. Rang the property and was asked to go at back . All was well.

There was a lot of building work going on to complete the new spa.

We enjoyed the spacious suite that had a gorgeous view of Durham Cathedral. The location was perfect walking distance to the river and attractions and restaurants in town.

Great hotel. Great location.

Clean the room and bathroom. Lovely running hot water. I would have liked some bottled water along with coffee, etc. Staff very friendly and breakfast very good. Good choice of both cooked and continental 😊
